Hi Everyone!

I'm beginning the prepwork/planning for our Second trip to Disney World!

We are leaving Los Angeles on Saturday-September 17, 2016 at 12:30am (Yes, I know crazy early!)

And Sadly leaving MCO on Sunday-September 25, 2016 around 9am.

And by we - I mean my husband and myself!

That is me - Travis - on the left, and my husband, Paul on the right!

I hope to have a big chunk of this trip report completed by the end of tomorrow - Since I'm off work for the holiday!

I look forward to sharing any plans/tips you guys may have as this year - I will be following up with an actual trip report! *Woot Woot* :rainbow:

The good news is that all of our pertinent plans have been made!

We have some really great ADR's and we are staying at our first moderate resort.

We are very excited about staying here. I have seen nothing except great reviews!
If you have any tips about staying here, please let me know!

Since we are leaving at 12:30am from LAX we should arrive at MCO no later than 8:30am EST! This was pre-planned, because last year we arrived around
5:30pm and felt like we wasted a whole day of Disney! So I will report what this experience is like. We will be flying with a new airline as well - Frontier
And we have heard some ups and downs about that airline, but we are being very hopeful. And If for some reason our flight is delayed by a few hours, we should
be fine as we will still have a big portion of the day on Saturday to be at Disney! The good news is the flight is direct from LAX to MCO!

Once we arrive we will be taking the Magical Express to our hotel and dropping off our luggage - as we don't expect our room to be ready until the evening. So our action plan
is a little up in the air. We have multiple options; First we will explore the resort including French Quarter ; possibly grab breakfast or lunch. Then either take a quick dip in the
pool or hop on the boat to Disney Springs to then explore some of the resorts. THis is one thing that we did not get to do last year, and we really wish we had the time.

If we have the time (and I'm sure we will ) we will see if we can sign up for a DVC tour - as we are highly considering buying, but we are going to do it on the Used market.
Our top resort for this would be Animal Kingdom Lodge. We fell in love with it last year when we went to Boma!

Once the day is getting around 4:00-4:30ish we will hope back on the bus to go to our first ADR.

That's right the Boathouse.

We were actually trying to get an ADR for Fulton's as that was my husbands favorite from last year. But since the construction is going on we will have to part ways until they re-open/brand.
However, we heard really great things about the Boathouse.

We will actually be on the dining plan again this year, but we will look at the pricing and the other ADR's that we have scheduled - as we may pay OOP at this restaurant.

Since our reservation is at 5:30pm I expect us to be out of there around 6:30-6:45pm; We have no plans other than going back to the hotel to relax and prepare to wake up early for the parks the next day.

With an extra few hours of sleep under our belt we will be waking up around 6:30am to get ready for our first park of the trip....

...

And it is....

If you guessed: Hollywood Studios - You are correct! :D

This is almost an unintended tradition, as that is where we started last year!

Here is one of the reasons we like starting with Hollywood Studios -

- It tends to have EMH our first day :)
- It has just enough attractions where you can spend a few hours in the park, go back for a mid-day nap, and then come back and finish the rest of the attractions and see fantasmic! :flower1:

I completed a Touring Plans for it and these are the results it gave me. This seems like a feasible plan. If we happen to skip anything we can always come back again sometime in the week to do it.

We are really excited to try Mama Melrose's.
Just looking at the menu I'm really wanting to try the Calamari for the appetizer. (this will be OOP)
For the entree I would like to try the Charred Strip Steak - As advertised on Allears as " with four-cheese macaroni with pancetta, aged balsamic-shallot butter, and Chianti Wine Reduction $33"
Since this will be on the DDP, we will need to select a dessert. I think I will pick the Gelato or Cheesecake. Also we will receive fantasmic fastpasses with this meal :)

Shortly after that we will need to get ready for 2 rides and then Fantasmic! Even though we are Disneyland AP'ers I really really like watching Fantasmic at HS. The seating is nicer, and the beginning...omg it has Pocahontas my FAVORITE - so this show is a must!

After the show concludes we will head out with the crowd to return to the hotel!

Our next day is going to be split between two parks.

Our first is going to be my favorite park - Animal Kingdom due to EMHs!

We will arrive around 8am and probably race to Everest to ride 1 or 2 times! Then run over to get a picture at the Adventure Outpost!

Next up will be to head over to Tusker house for a 9:40am breakfast reservation. This will be a first for us - as we have never had breakfast
at Disney world! And I hear this place is pretty good and you meet the characters - so even better in my book :)

After our tummies are full, we will head over to the Lion King theatre to catch a show, before making our way through some shops and back to the resort for a nap!
We learned last time - to pace yourself and really enjoy those mid-day naps as much as you can!

Now we are at - Tuesday September 20th.

This day is heavily unplanned, as we will be in the Magic Kingdom for a few hours.
We will then leave mid-day for a nap and to relax at the hotel. We have an ADR for Boma at 6:30pm and we will probably spend some time
at the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort, as I love exploring the grounds!

** Just a life update ** Summer term has started and I'm working full time - so I'm a little busy! I do hope to finish by the weekend!

I didn't forget to finish. We had some plan changes, but working on updating these now!

Here is the rest of the report!

But first the big change for Tuesday, Sept 20th.

We will still have an unplanned day, but we did cancel our Boma Reservations for.....

The Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party! We are excited to do this again!

Now back to the original plans!

Wednesday, Sept 21-

We will sleep in due to the Halloween party! However, this will still be our first
park of the day! We will more than likely find breakfast/brunch food due to our ADR for lunch being a late lunch.

Our ADR is for a QS Lunch at Be Our Guest! This will be a first for us and I can't wait to see the inside!

Thursday, Sept 22 -

Back to Epcot for EMH! We will have lunch around the Food and Wine festival!

We will definitely head back for a dip in the pool or just relaxing at the resort! We will have ADRs for Liberty Tree Tavern
I'm very excited about this as I love traditional Thanksgiving fare! Our Reservations are for 4:45pm that night.

Friday, Sept 23 -

This day is primarily unplanned! We do have ADRs for the second showing at the Hoop De Doo revue!

Saturday, Sept 24 -

THis will be our last park day and catch up/see anything that we really wanted to see, but missed throughout the week.

Thanks for joining guys!

I look forward to doing (As live as I can) trip report this time :)
