people on scooters who obviously don't need to be!

My husband has very bad Knees, he has had 17 broken bones in his life. Yes technically he is not disabled, however he CANNOT walk all the parks for our 11 day trip coming up. Believe me, I would much rather save the money and not get a scooter, however, please don't dis the scooters until you walk in that person's shoes.
And just so you know you do not save any time in line and it actually takes much longer to get anywhere.

:upsidedow

Ok, I thought of another one.

I hate it when people (usually a group, but at least a couple) STOP in the MIDDLE of a pathway to look at a map, answer a phone call/radio call, or decide that is the best time and place to take out the backpack and dish out snacks to everyone in the group.

MOVE TO THE SIDE OF THE WALKWAY PEOPLE!!!

People who continue to drag their kids around after the kids are hot, overtired and crabby and obviously need to be in bed. I sat near a family with two small SCREAMING kids while I was eating dinner at 10:30 one night. The kids had to be about 3 and 5 and while their screaming and crying disturbed the entire restaurant, the parent acted like the didn't even notice the poor kids. I was furious at the parents for keeping those poor kids out so late when the kids were obviously exhausted.

Here we go again.

I really dislike guests who verbally complain about my height (6'4") while I am watching a parade or fireworks. I cannot help that I am tall.

That there aren't very many character dining experiences geared more towards a little boy. The girls have all kinds of ways to meet the Princesses, Alice, Mary Poppins etc.....Where is Woody and Buzz, Star Wars etc for my son? (I also have 3 daughters, I want him to have the same as my girls)

Parents who take their obviously very sick child to the park just because neither one will sacrifice a day..if they're sick...let them REST, not dehydrate out in the sun and throwing up in front of my feet...

Amen!:thumbsup2 I saw this 3x on our trip.
One kid tossed his cookies right next to DBF at dinner :scared: & his parents seemed like they expected it to happen :sad2:
We saw two other toddlers with obvious fevers and runny noses. One of them was crying and grandparents were coaxing him to drink his juice saying "You have a fever & you need to take your medicine in the juice. If you don't take your medicine, we're going to have to go home" Lady, this kid was miserable in the heat-please, by all means-take him home!

My biggest pet peeve is that I have to leave at the end of my vacation!:(
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I totally agree with this one. I love going and being there but I hate leaving. That is my biggest pet peeve everything is water under the bridge..

When I hear people saying--"We are going to Epcot today and then we're going to DisneyWorld tomorrow"

Magic Kingdom is not Disney World, it is Magic Kingdom:headache:

I can't stand cutters & It really irks me when people try to save spots in line for outrageous numbers. When I was there, there was a class trip as well. While in line for splash mountain, these 2 girls apparently saved spots with them for 15 people! We had already waited for about 45 minutes and after I refused to let all 15 go in front of my friends & I, they became angry but then got in line in the back. I'm sorry, I can understand holding it for a child or someone who had to go the bathroom, etc but it can just get ridiculous, I mean 15?!?! I saw that happen numerous times with different groups. Come on, either wait for your entire group or go seperately

When there is a group of people (usually teenagers) who swear and curse and are louder than any person should be in the middle of what should be a very happy and child friendly place. People who talk bad about the attractions and talk good about rides from other "non-disney" parks while waiting on line at disney.

Nothing pisses me off more than being seated next to a kid screaming or crying or talking loudly and saying dumb things. Like I 100% percent understand that I am at Disneyworld but when I want to eat a nice meal and I'm paying like $60 per person to eat there, I expect it to be quieter. I'm not saying ban kids from nicer restaurants (even though I'd like to) but maybe have some area of some sort aimed specifically for people who enjoy a more peaceful meal...

But that's not just at Disney, that's everywhere. It's as annoying to me as smoking in a restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I love kids and they love me but when it's time to eat, they need to settle down and zippit. :confused3 I do know it's hard to travel around with kids, but I didn't for a reason...

Just my thoughts, please no one hate me.

"Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live." -Oscar Wilde

Heelies!! I swear next time I am just going to plan on taking them down!!! And parade cutters! When you wait 40 minutes so your child has a great view and some family at the last minute just stops right in front of your kid and then they can't see a thing!! There should be a special level of hell reserved for these parents. It has happened everytime and they will never move their precious child out of the way.

one of my pet peeves is when you have to constantly remind people "can you please move up"when you are waiting on the line and you find yourself doing this the entire time until you get on the ride...... UGH!!!!!!!

I actually am kinda peeved off by the opposite. I hate when I'm line for say 45 minutes for something like splash or RNR and I stop to tie my shoe or take a picture and people try to rush ahead or badger you to move the two feet that just opened up in front of me. Seriously it's not going to make a difference if I pause and then walk or walk and then wait until the line moves again. Of course i'm talking long lines not short ones.

Also I know some children are in these strollers for good reason, but seriously... It bothered me to see SOOOOOO many children over the age of six in strollers... I swear i have seen 13 year olds being pushed around by frail grandparents. Like seriously once you start grade school unless the child has some kind of physical or mental condition I don't think a stroller is necessary, but who knows my tune could change if I ever had kids.

My #1 pet peeve is when people take pictures during the inside rides blinding everyone around them and then when asked to stop, suddenly don't speak English even though you heard them speaking it just a few minutes ago.

Other pet peeves include line cutters/savers, people pushing their kids in front of me during parades saying something like 'Well we know WDW is for the kids and we know you won't mind", then they proceed to push both themselves and their kids in front of me so they can 'watch their kids reactions'. Excuse me, I waited 45 minutes in that spot so I could get some good pictures. If the kid is shorter than me, he can stand in front of me, but not you. Another pet peeve are people who stand in a CS line for 15 minutes and then wait until they get to the counter to ask their party to decide what they want to eat. Make your mind up while in the line, not while at the cashier. Also people using cell phones during shows, movies, and rides. One other thing is Brazillian tour groups and the rude POP Warner kids who suddenly push everybody out of the way to rush onto the buses and rides.

Guests with the medical training and x-ray vision and psychic ability to tell who is 'qualified' to use a wheelchair or ECV...

When people put kids on their shoulders right in front of you when you are trying to watch the parade! :sad2:

In general actually...People who judge too much.

Just because you don't know what's wrong with that man in the wheelchair, obviously means he's cheating and just doesn't want to walk. People people please, there are some disablities that aren't physically apparent.

Yeah, that woman just threw up in the water at Splash Mountain. I give her sympathy instead of anger, she didn't know that ride was going to upset her so much.

So that woman over there is changing her baby's diaper on the bench or breast feeding her small baby. I have absolutely no idea why she's doing it, therefore I have no room to judge. I would give her an understanding smile instead of a dirty look.

I go to Disney to be happy and care-free and not worry about other people. Nothing bothers me at Disney, except the people who simply can't understand why somebody is doing something different from them.

Oh, one more thing. Disney is a family park. Which means kids, and lots of them. If you can't handle kids being around you, I suggest visiting another vacation destination.

Ugh.

Also...please do not get all huffy if you come in a smoking section and don't like smoke. That is the designated area for smoking and if you don't like it don't linger around that area! It's really easy, walk away from it, or take a different path. I don't smoke but my parents do and I saw this happen often. They never once wondered outside of the designated area, so there's no need to get all huffy.

People who don't have the "magic" at the Happiest place on earth ;)

My pet peeve (and I'm donning my flame retardant suit, so flame away) is what I've nicknamed "cockroaches" at the parks. It's the 8 year old child, maybe two of them, holding hands that darn near stampede you and shove you aside to get in front of you and everyone else in line for a ride. I usually smile and think how cute it is that these children are soooo excited to get on that ride, so It doesn't bother me, until I see their parents saying "excuse me, excuse me, my family is up there, excuse me, pardon me...." followed by their 3 sisters, their aunt and uncle, 5 cousins, grandma, her new boyfriend, and his 17 children from his previous marriage. I know kids run ahead out of excitement, but don't use that as a way to cut in line. Many of these parents encourage the kids to push in front of the line so they can meet up with them. Either keep the kids with you, or get in shape to keep up with them! Just my 2 cents.:teacher:
Ok that made me laugh!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
