Disney World Magical Express Question

So it's okay to pull your own luggage and take it on the ME? How far is the airport from WDW? We're trying to decide on the ME or a cab.

You must schedule Magical Express and then they will be sent to you automatically.

Yes, you can pull your bags if you wish. MCO is about a 30-40 min ride from WDW. I'm not sure about mileage. We have always considered MDE part of the whole vacation experience.

Love the magical express as transportation but would never let them transport my bags. Only did it once and didn't get the bags for several hours . I prefer to get our bags and take the bus to hotel. If room isn't available the we just leave bags with bell service and get them when room is ready.

When you use DME, you will get your bags within about 3 hours of checking in at your resort. For you, the system worked exactly like it was supposed to.

I am anxious about using the luggage option..... I don't want to wear the same clothes all week! That said, I got one tag per person, but if only 2 from the room are going to use them,can I use that 3rd tag for my 2nd suitcase? (3rd person coming in separately a day or so before so not using ME on the way in) I assume all the little numbers on the yellow tags go to the same place? BTW, if staying a value resort, do the bags go to bell services,or our room?

Yes, feel free to use the 3rd person's tag on your suitcase, they all go to the same place. They will go to your room.
