Just to clarify for myself, I have NEVER asked for the rules to be broken. It was an offer and we accepted. To ask to break a rule, one must know that it exists.
I worked only once for Disney many years ago, but never actually used my privileges to get in for myself let alone with guests.
I did recently make a request to her, but I will now rescind that request as I really didn't know that the CM had to accompany us.
Let me ask you--is there a difference between hourly and salaried privileges?
I didn't mean anyone in particular, just a general caution to throw out there. I've told friends of mine no because I couldn't stay with them just to find out they found someone else who was willing to break the rules for them. I'm sorry, but a day at Disney for you is not worth my husband's job.
I know there are differences, but my DH is salaried, so those are the rules I know about. I know a little bit about hourly from friends of mine who are hourly. If you want to know something specific, I'd prefer a PM.

have you actually have people here on the DIS ask you to get them in
. I have known of a few situations where some of the DIS members have banded together and given away tickets, points to stay and money to help out another Dis'er. Thank God for people like that. They have really made a difference in someones life
