Disney Wonder September 3, 2012. Seattle to Vancouver 7 night Alaska Cruise!

We are all so glad to have you join us. How many of you are there? My sister "Zookeeeper" and our families are taking our first cruise together. We too are happy beyond words, about this alaskan cruise. Have you guys ever cruised before? This is their first, and my first disney. I have cruised 3 different cruise lines, and hoping for something alittle better. I have high expectations.......

This is my second cruise. My daughter and I took the Mexican Riviera Disney cruise last November. I did not know what to expect. My experience was so great that we booked 2 more cruises. The food was wonderful. The service was great and the staff went out their way to please me. We met wonderful people and had a great time.
I know that we all are going to have a wonderful and unforgetable time. I can wait to meet you all.

Brand new to the boards, and going on our first Disney cruise, I figured I should quit lurking on this thread and say hi.

On this cruise will be my wife, two daughters, my mother-in-law, and of course myself.

We're from Regina, Saskatchewan.
Oldest daughter is turning 9 while on the cruise.
Youngest daughter is 7.

Any suggestions for small things to do for her birthday? We'll be putting a card on the door for people to sign if they want, but we're still looking for other little things.

Tell your server they will do something special for her. You can also turn in tshirts or pillow cases to guest services the first day of the cruise and the characters will sign them. They will appear back in your room the last night of the cruise. We always buy fabric markers and turn them in with our tshirts. They make great gifts.

Glad to see there are a few more kids I have 2 boys, who will be 7 and 4 yrs old when we sail. I saw under the planning section that they have room decorations and a cake package for $49.

We are also celebrating 3 birthdays and an anniversary! We told disney about them and when we wanted to celebrate them. The server will bring over a special desert and sing for free.

I opted against the room decor since the rooms are small as is And the cake is ordered from a different company, delivered to the ship at boarding and can't be customized... (so they said)...

Maybe buy some birthday ears in advance for her to wear too?

Just so ALL you disney cruisers know: I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know alittle about you and as my husband said,"We will know people when we get to the ship" Funny thing is only a few posted pic's. Some have described themselves. It will be so nice to put a face with the names. Are you guys going to join the fe?

Hello everyone! Let's see if this works. Here's a photo of me and my wife taken last year on our 4th anniversary. We were all dressed up for dinner at Steakhouse 55, so we decided to go into the park and take pictures dressed up at Disneyland. Anyway, this is pretty much the same way we look today, except I have a clean shave now. If you see us on the ship, stop us and say hello. We are very friendly and love to talk Disney with anyone and everyone. We also love to talk hockey, so if you are a hockey fan, we already have something in common. Our team is the Anaheim Ducks.

Can't wait fror the cruise, these are gonna be the longest six weeks of our lives!

EDIT: Holy Cow! That came out WAY, WAY, bigger than I intended!

Great picture, Pinocchio #1 Fan! Thanks for sharing. My husband and I are hockey fans, too - Chicago Blackhawks. Between that and Disney, we could be gabbing a long time.

For the past two weeks I have being living and breathing the Alaska Cruise, 24/7. I am half way through making my FE gifts. I have spent lots of hours doing research and finally I finished all my travel arrangements today.

Hi all!! DH and I will be joining you all on this cruise (and the B2B). It will be my first cruise as platinum We have been looking forward to an Alaskan cruise for a long time. We booked this cruise back in Oct along with a Mexican Riv cruise that we just took a few weeks ago! So now I guess its time to start focusing on Alaska!!
We are joined on this cruise by my parents and sister (KLMchemist) This will be our 5th cruise on the Wonder, and I will have done 5 on the Magic and one on the Dream! We have been DVC members for 10 years. We have 3 kids DD21, DS19, and DS17, none of which will be traveling with us.

Wow! Small world!! We cruised together in October!!

Octoberbride03 coordinated our group. It will be nice seeing you again
