So how much begging do you think I have to do to get my parents to take us on the repo cruise??

After Dad first offered to front me the money (of course, I did ask-- the Bank of Dad has much lower interest rates!) .. and he agreed.. then I began to scheme in my mind a bit.. so I called him back and said..

"You liked being in the navy, right? You miss it, right?"
"Hmm. Yeah. I do. I loved being at sea."
"So.. you know what would be a good last family vacation for us?"
"What?"
"That cruise I was telling you about earlier. 15 nights. You know Mom's desperate for contact with her children."
"Yes. But.."
"No buts! You guys stopped taking me on vacation when I was 15, you owe me some vacation and you'd get to go back out to sea and mom would get two weeks with me where I'm trapped on a ship and you know she'd love it."
"You're right. Well. Print stuff off and I'll show it to her tonight."

...came home from work and asked me which ports it was.. what the dates were.. I have planted an idea that might get me on the repo cruise for FREE! Sure it's a vacation with my parents but HEY! It's free and that ships big enough to get lost.. and maybe it'll do us some good.

I fear this may not work with you, though.. since your parents have been taking you on vacation with them..

(I mentioned it to mom tonight and she did a little "yeah right" noise and walked away. I then reminded her that we've NEVER done anything that I wanted to do and she has no idea whether or not she'd enjoy it at all and It'd be cool for Dad to get to go back to sea.. and all I got was "Life isn't about getting what you want." ... except I can go without her. I think shes missing the point? lol.)

Not really harsh, thats my mom. Shes one of those people that is never pleased. It's impossible.

To start, I made my stalker cry and watched a movie where women were infertile.. which was SCARY!

Then work
Then I made Sweet and Sour Chicken which was underwhelming because my mom just took some and left.. and it made me wish I were going to Culinary School

My Friday was okay. In Teia's class today we dissected owl pellets (regurgitation). Our group found three rat skulls and a bunch of bones! The kids really were amazed by what an owl eats.

We watched Dead Man's Chest (again) tonight, that always rocks!
