I hope you get to feeling better soon.
Thanks Taeja!:goodvibes I haven't had any issues as of late. *fingers crossed* I do feel better...but my stomach does ocassionally feel funny...just as long as I'm not head-first in the toilet I'm fine with that. The only bad thing now is that my back hurts.:guilty: It hurt a little bit earlier but kind of went away...and now it kinda hurts a lot. I think it was the way I was laying earlier but I haven't been lying down in near 2 hours now. It could be my chair...there's jeans and a sweatshirt draped over the back which makes it uncomfortable to lean back. Guess I should move them, huh?:confused3 :rotfl:

I guess we fit the insane catagory since we drive down to Orlando. :dance3: Just give the kids plenty of things to do and make stops along the way and you can do it Suzanne. You may end up like this  by the time you get there, but hey its better than giving away your souvenir money to an airline. :rolleyes1

We usually ALWAYS drive. Of course...Maryland is no New York and it is certainly no Indiana. Unless it was a weekend trip then we would fly. But I just got news the other day that we're flying down for the week we're going to spend there in May. Made me kind of sad...:sad2: I'm getting just a tad sick of flying these days.:rolleyes1

O.k., I'm having the craziest two weeks of my life. Snow days and now FOG day delays!? DH came in the this morning telling me to check for Fog delay for the kids school and sure enough there was. The kids went to school for ONE hour! That's it! How stupid is that!? The message on the school website said, this is so they can count the time toward their hours of attendance (hoping they don't have to go to school through June). We might see more snow Sunday night :sad2: . The school is driving me a little bit  right ....o.k, beyond crazy

Sorry for the vent. *sigh*

The only times I was out of school was for the Rodney King riot and earthquakes. That's it. Fog, you drove in it :car:

I hear ya!

Yeah my mom told me to drink coke (that's what we always got when we were little and sick...we used to never get soda otherwise) but to let it go a little flat first. But I couldn't hold that done earlier.:guilty: I've had some apple juice, a little bit of water, and a little bit more coke since then and I seem to be doing alright. But you never know.:confused3 I really just want to go to sleep...but I just lie in my bed trying not to be sick and I don't fall asleep.:guilty:

Dont push it! Little sips are good. Then try rice or toast, when you can keep the drinks down.

Yeah my mom told me not to "guzzle" and to take sips. But after I told her I had trouble keeping it down she said that the sips were supposed to be few and half an hour apart. I was just too thirsty to wait that long!:rotfl:
Haven't tried to eat yet but my stomach just growled. I might try some cheerios in a bit...I'm just slightly nervous.

I learned this lesson the hard way, years ago when the boys were little. They both had an awful stomach virus and (mistakenly) I kept pumping huge amounts of liquid into them. They ended up in the ER on IVs for dehydration. It was then I learned to use the tiny cup that comes with cough medicine... they had to start with a sip of water every few minutes. That was it. It was a horrible way to learn but I've never forgotten it!

Good Morning!!!
Heidi how are you feeling?

I've feeling much better, thanks!:goodvibes Went to both my classes today and was pretty okay. I did have some cheerios last night and held those down just fine!:goodvibes Workin on eating some frosted cheerios right now.

Ooo Lisa...yikes about your boys! We got an e-mail saying that our on-campus health center saw 20 to 25 cases of gastroenteritis and when it was needed they administered IV...yikes! I can't stand IV's. My friend in chem today also had the same thing I had and she said she had to get an IV too.:sad2:

Anyone seen this yet??

How exciting!!!:goodvibes How much begging would it take to get my parents to book the inaugural cruises??:rotfl:

Oh yeah...my mom told me last night that my grandparents booked the cruise for December 22nd. It's basically the same itinerary as the 7-Night Western Caribbean cruise...only not Disney.:sad2: Should reinforce the fact that I only want to cruise Disney.:thumbsup2
