I know I really hoped it was going to work out!!! I am actually thinking of talking John into driving to Florida the 2nd week of April The kids have good friday off plus the whole next week and so does John. Airfare is just outrageous but driving I don't know

So apparently there's a virus going around school. Yeap...I got it. I haven't been this kind of sick in years... And I have no mommy or daddy here to take care of me.

The nasty kind. Stomach virus...kept me in the bathroom this morning from 4 something til 7. My bio professor mentioned it about a month ago...he called it the "Loveboat" virus. I'd tell you the rest of his explanation but it ain't pleasant but it's exactly what I got.

I hope you get better soon! I hate the stomach thing. Mine was the Respiratory thing! The stomach thing went through the ER a month ago! Knock on wood-I missed it!

I'm not too crazy about the stomach thing either Vicki. I'm pretty sure I have nothing left in my stomach to get rid of. Of course...I also thought that at about 6:30 and it didn't seem to be true then either.

I'm in between at the moment. I was feelin real good for about 20-30 minutes and then I retrogressed. But I'm doing better than this morning that's for sure. I just don't want to have to miss classes on Friday after missing them today. I'm not sure how I feel about missing classes tomorrow...I'm sad to say that it would be nice but it probably would not be a good idea. But Friday I have a program due and a lab practical to do in computer science.

O.k., I'm having the craziest two weeks of my life. Snow days and now FOG day delays!? DH came in the this morning telling me to check for Fog delay for the kids school and sure enough there was. The kids went to school for ONE hour! That's it! How stupid is that!? The message on the school website said, this is so they can count the time toward their hours of attendance (hoping they don't have to go to school through June). We might see more snow Sunday night . The school is driving me a little bit right ....o.k, beyond crazy

Sorry for the vent. *sigh*

The only times I was out of school was for the Rodney King riot and earthquakes. That's it. Fog, you drove in it

Yeah my mom told me to drink coke (that's what we always got when we were little and sick...we used to never get soda otherwise) but to let it go a little flat first. But I couldn't hold that done earlier. I've had some apple juice, a little bit of water, and a little bit more coke since then and I seem to be doing alright. But you never know. I really just want to go to sleep...but I just lie in my bed trying not to be sick and I don't fall asleep.

I guess we fit the insane catagory since we drive down to Orlando. Just give the kids plenty of things to do and make stops along the way and you can do it Suzanne. You may end up like this by the time you get there, but hey its better than giving away your souvenir money to an airline.
