Your dog is so cute. I want another dog. We lost our rottie last year. I have to wait till we get back from cruise. I am glad POTC was good. I would hate to see it be bad after all the hype. Have a good weekend everyone! :cool1:

Thanks and sorry about your dog. It is hard to lose a pet. We lost last year within a month of each other our cat Tiger he was 17 and then our dog Midnight she was 14-part lab, part Rottie.
This one is all Lab! She loves the hose, the shower, the pool but hates the rain. Go figure :confused3

My son went to see it too! Dont know if he liked it yet he woke up at 5am and has been in the ER since maybe kidney stone or early appenditis.

OMG How is he?!?!? pixiedust:Pixie dust and prayers that all is well!

Vicki, I hope Tim gets to feeling better soon. Sorry we couldn't hijack, I mean convince him to come along. Bummer! I'm going to print his picture for one of my door signs.

Lisa, did you feel that POTCII was a little hard to follow b/c they tried to over stuff the plot? Or maybe those parts of the plot may lead to POTC III? I don't know, I'm just guessing here and I'm curious. The only way to solve my curiosity is to see it for myself!

Momof2 princess:princess:, sorry for the loss of your pet. I look forward to hearing about the memories of your new friend after the cruise.

Piecey, Are you out there?! Or are you running around your new stomping grounds again?

Bill. Bill. I'm just not going to go there. I'll just keep eating my popcorn and not comment. popcorn::

I'm so glad Mother Nature has been kind weather wise. I hope hurricane season stays this way! :thumbsup2

Tae Ja, I'm not sure what it was, probably a little of both. It definitely had a darker feel to it, moreso than the first one. I have read some posts here on the DIS about people being put off by the fact that it's being hyped as a kid's movie (with Mc Donald's Happy Meals and other toys in general) yet they feel it is less appropriate for a little one than the first.

We all really enjoyed it! Luckily, DD6 is at a point where she wasn't bothered at all by the "scary" parts. A couple of years ago, she was terrified by Ursula in the Little Mermaid.... she has definitely come a long way. As with everything, it's a personal choice. Whatever works for yourself and your kids.

Our first one (pictured in my avatar) loooooves water and will run through the sprinklers, try to drink from the hose when you are watering the plants, and does not mind baths. But God forbid he have to walk in the damp grass in the morning, eyeeewwww! :rotfl:

Our other one could care less. Wet, dry, whatever. As long as he's getting love.

Ursula scares me too. Here's what I'm wondering. Cound my kid sit through a first run movie (in the theatre) w/o being scared to death? The youngest would probably enjoy it the most. Hmmm, maybe we'll wait to see it.

21.
He's home now. If the pain gets worse or he developes a fever we have to take him back.

I never understood why Disney has kids over 10 billed as adults. It's too bad they couldn't have made a "junior" rate or something. It really is ridiculous but alas, they get away with it. What choice do we have? It's the nature of the beast.

Well his urine had some blood so they went the kidney stone route but the radiologist said in the CT no stone but some lines and swelling near the appendix. SO ?? They said if he gets worse bring him back.
