What a wonderful trip report; you are the Poet Laureate of the Disney Wonder! With an entertaining, inciteful, and witty view into the hardscrabble life aboard a cruise liner in the 21st century. The challenges were many, but you have conquered and lived to tell the tale. Thanks!
I second the motion. I have only read chapter one so far, but it is a hoot! Looking forward to reading more!

Anyway, I finally placed 99 pics into our Yahoo photograph album to share our little slice of Wonder with y'all. Seems like half of 'em are food, but I never take pictures of food anywhere else, honest. This time around, we went to more of the nighttime happenings than just the shows and had a real blast. Nothing on that ship is worth missing, but we still didn't see it all...
Thanks for the photos. As I said before, we kept forgetting the camera and Sarah told us she did not want pictures taken so we are thankful for the Shutters staff who came to the dinner table several times and enabled us to get some darling shots of our sons and soon-to-be-daughter-in-law!!!

But, all this to say, we did not have pictures of Castaway Cay, Nassau, etc. So, I have borrowed some from various photo posts and now I have a file of pictures from this cruise. THANK YOU for your additions!!

Sooo I was surfing around the Upromise webpage (Don't know how many of you are familiar with them) and I'm registered for the loan reduction program-- basically if I buy stuff online, I go through their site and I earn like 1% back off my student loans..

IF I book a Disney Cruise through their travel agency (way out in Salt Lake City!) I get 3% back of what I pay. IF my family is serious about making this 7-night in '08 a reality that could turn into a pretty awesome chunk of change! Friends and family can purchase things, too, that will pay a percentage back off my loans.. soo ... I wonder if this travel agency has realistic rates? You'd think so. It's not their money crediting back, I'm fairly certain it's Disneys?...

Oh man! You should give it to us anyways. I am sure Disney just writes it off as a donation.

Most likely.

I have to e-mail invitations, I think. So I'd need e-mails in people interested-- lol.

It's UPromise.com if you want to give it a look, though. I think I have to e-mail invitations so that I'm not giving out my account information (as my account is directly linked to my student loans!)

It was no problem really. Anything to help out a fellow DISer! :grouphug: My parents are going on the Wonder cruise that leaves this weekend. I guess they'll pop into the store and get Lisa a new nightshirt for Teia. Nothin to it really. :goodvibes

Okay, trying to catch up yet again . . .

Holly your family is too cool for helping Lisa out! :cheer2: :dancer: :woohoo: I only wish I were about to go on another cruise so I could get the night gown for her! ;) :teeth: And what's this about having a jawbone removed? :scared1: I haven't come across the beginning of that part yet. I do hope you get good new's from the coach and that he's had a change of heart.

Have we heard from Bill yet? I never did see him on the cruise (or at least not that I knew of). :confused3

Taeja - a group booking on DCL consists of booking 8 or more cabins that includes 16 adults (full fare price). Of course travel agencies also prebook group cruises to be able to offer the group price even if you don't need 8 cabins. ;)

We need a date! I'm having severe post cruise depression blues - my luggage and most everything in it is still sitting in the floor of my dining room. :( I need something to plan and to look forward too! pirate:

Erica - Oh My Goodness, am I enjoying your trip report!!! I wish I had've gotten to know you - you sound like so much fun!!! I only met you briefly at Cove Cafe when we were assembling the goody bags (BTW - my kids LOVED them, thank you again everyone!) and you had to tell me how to pronounce your username. I also love your new avatar (even though it would be better if it had Jack Sparrow in it! ;) ) And I LOVE your pic in your signature - I wish I had've gotten that shot with my family. I was more concerned about the 600 pics that I took of the Flying Dutchman. pirate:

I'm sure I'm missing some comment that I meant to make, but I bet everyone is gone to bed by now anyway so I'll try to catch up again tomorrow. :sunny: Have a good night to anyone still up.

Shoot, this board is a 24/7 operation! :woohoo: The skit was on the last day (Wednesday night) in the Diversions Pub (deck 3 forward) at 10:30 or so. It was listed in the Navigator, but obviously did not get much press as it was in a small venue and not many attended (less than 50). :dance3: The show is certainly not for little kids, so it was a surprise to me (as was the comedy show on the second night), but it sure was entertaining. BTW, the skit was not novel in that I have seen similar ones at camp (years ago) and also on a Carnival cruise (oops, did I just confess to infidelity? :rolleyes1 )

PS. My sunburn from CC is fading and thus is gone another reminder of having been asea.... :boat:

Ohh ohh if my parents truly mean family, that includes my brother. I think they're somewhere around the same age?? I could use that to con Greg..

That would be nice!
