Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 3

I have had the toiletry bag packed for about a month now.....(to make travel easier for us we have one ready to go all the time)
AND, I have a pile on the floor of "must brings" that has been gradually growing.

I have a couple of those piles of "must brings" too. My problem is that I keep using, washing and replacing some of that stuff. I have a bunch of new stuff stashed under the other stuff. I hope I have enough luggage for all of this stuff.

Lisa, Is the storm blowing away or fizzling out 'cause your light is still on.

I wonder why my light stayed on?! I logged off, signed off of AOL, shut down the computer, disconnected the cable AND unplugged it. I was gone gone!

That was sure nice of you to buy your DD a hoodie with your Birthday exchange $$, you're such a good mommy!

Our Disney Store closed down a few years ago. Probably good for my bank account, but still a bummer.

I am like you though, I was always looking at the little kid's clothes and wondering why they didn't make those styles in adult sizes. I think that a lot though, they have t-shirts or something with Winnie the Pooh on it, but I like the actual styles, like sundresses and stuff.

Oh well, I think I just don't want to grow up yet,

I love looking at the kids' clothes. They always seem to have cuter stuff. They have a new line of jeans for the kids that have sketched artwork of various characters down the legs, some in color, others in black & white. Very cool.

Glad you got all moved in to your dorm. Have you met your new suite mates? Are they cool?

When I went to college it was close enough that I could just commute from my parent's house. Saved me a TON of money but I do sometimes wonder if I missed out on the whole "dorm life" experience.

I went to the swat meet. I got sunglasses a new belt for pirate night and DH his humongous socks for his big feet. I did not get much but it was fun. I still need more stuff but did not find it there. Now I am off to get DD her school supplies I need.

Taeja had mentioned needing a packing song,. I haven't found a good one yet, but I did find this one (it doesn't have to do with packing directly, but it is good advice, I'm only doing the first verse because they use a not so nice word later on that I refuse to even type )

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Good luck finding your DD her school supplies. You bringing a U-Haul? or is it not too bad of a list this year?

Seems like when I was a little kid all we needed were crayons, a pee chee a lunch box (maybe a new book bag) and some kleenex, oh yeah and Elmer's glue, YUM!

Good luck!! Hope it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, or send you to a million different stores!

Oops! Everything at our school is taken care of yeah! All I need is 2 white binders and a pack of markers because the teacher wants them.
