omgoodness! i was just looking at some of the posts on the thread for my other cruise... apparently there is a rumor floating around that pirates will be out on dvd in early november! someone is checking on the validity of that statement. and i just told my mom and she had heard that somewhere else as well!

oh drat! at the time they were boring and yellowish, now they have every possible picture and design possible on them. I think they even hole punch them so you can put them in your 3 ring binders.

Hmmm I wonder why I call them pee chee's. I wonder if that is a "regional thing", an "old person thing" or just a "theresa thing",

I have to keep reminding myself that I was nearly 16 before I realized (NO KIDDING) that every time you sneezed or someone else sneezed they were saying "bless you" and not "bleah shooooo" as if to mock the sound you just made. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I CAME UP WITH THESE THINGS! but boy was I embarassed when I found out!

I saw some knee length pants with lots of buttons that looked like some Elizabeth wore in the movie. They were in the Juniors department at WALMART. No whay I could fit them but you guys might do great in them. The fabric was kind of old-fashioned looking too. Cuffs at the knee and buttons on the sides of the knee if I recall. They would go real well with white knee sox and loafers with buckles on the top. (Buckles can be made by making about 4 layers of silver duct tape, cut it into a rectangle and a cut a hole that is rectangular then slap in on the top of the shoe! I made DH some that way--old loafers he does not wear as they have a hole in the sole--but would be OK for a costume.)

Thanks for the info, Jan! I would like to check them out...but I'm thinkin I'm too tall for juniors now. I'm probably just going to wear my khakis with the two shirts that I got...but I had to leave them at home cause they needed to be washed so I'm not sure how it's going to look until the cruise. I'm sure it will look just fine but I will be on the look out probably for pants just in case.

To answer peoples questions.. Dawn, they tested for heartworms before they gave me the pill. It's for a lot of stuff, I'm not sure I remember what all. I live in a river bed.. so it's realllly sandy here and the Vet said that heartworm pills were a must. Our indoor cat died of heartworms a few years ago, from the few, few times he went out.

Yes, Shih-Tzus are great but we're having a lot of issues with the potty training thing.. A lot, lot, lot of issues..

Alex was a pain at work today.. The boy would not STOP teasing me and I was ready to hurt him..

A TV fell on me today, haha.. I was changing pop and reaching for the syrup box (amongst the hazardous mess someone created) and slipped on pop that had spilled out of a bag of trash someone threw on the floor.. and the syrup box slid and hit the TV which fell on me.. and pinned my leg to the rack of pop syrups. I spent ten minutes yelling at Michael to come save me because I REFUSED to ask for Alex's help... and then I told him what happened and he wouldn't leave me alone. Kept asking me if I was sure I wasn't supposed to be under a TV somewhere.. Oh, haha.. sooo very funny.

oh my! It sounds like one of those things that is funny now that you're okay, but STILL! Yikes. Could have been a lot worse. Glad you're okay.

And glad that Rink is okay too, survived the hair cut and all.... dogs look so funny when they get their summer buzz cuts, so cute and fuzzy, just like a puppy again! My dog has short hair so I don't have to worry about it, but I see a lot of dogs at the dog park, usually their heads are all big and furry and then their body is all short and fuzzy, pretty darn cute!
