Yea DH read that. No liquids in your carry-on!
This stinks. I always take juices for the girls. Some lady tried to take on a liquid tube of lip gloss and they said no. No lotions, shampoo or anything like that.

Wait no shampoo?? How am I supposed to wash my hair on the cruise? What were they thinking? :confused3 I don't get the no liquid thing...

You can still take shampoo, you just have to check it.
It's because the people in the UK were using liquid based explosives.

You just have to put in checked luggage. These things just can't be brought on plane. I was just complaining because we have a long flight and I always bring juice and diet coke because they are slow on the plane but we will just have to deal with it.

They are also doing a second check at the gate so you can't buy a drink at the airport and take it on. No caffenie for 7:00 flight! :rotfl:

We carry juicy juice boxes in with my dd8 diabetes supplies incase of low blood sugar. I wonder if we still could do this with a Dr's note. I am all in favor of safer restrictions I just NEVER leave the house without emergency juce for dd. I'm a little nervous.

I would say call the airline, but I would think they would allow it, with a doctor's note. You just can't mess with diabetes.

I'm sad because I carry a bottle of water with me everywhere. I don't know if I can exist without it...I get dehydrated very quickly. And wow, buying water at an airport...I cringe to think of it. This also means no children's Motrin, so I'm worried about my son having a migraine. I realize these are all minor inconveniences compared to the threat of a bomb! It's just hard when you realize you have to rearrange all of the little things you do to make your family comfortable. And I'm not a happy flier in the first place...

I know I was going to take water.

So I ordered (on 7/18) the create your own tees that were on sale. Well, they didn't approve the slogan I put on the tee. They charged my Amex but never sent me notification that they were denying my design. I called guest services and they said they would not honor the original prices even though I explained that I never received the e-mail.

I am so furious :furious: They always like to brag about service and what not.

It won't ruin my trip but I am disappointed. I reallly do not have the time now to make t-shirts. We are out of town every weekend between now and the cruise and it's just not possible for me to do during the week.

I am going to watch e-bay for some cute matching shirts. I found one I like but she didn't have 5 in the sizes I needed :guilty:

That is horibble! What was the slogan? I saw them on the outlet price for $9.99. Then they have a 10% off coupon. I think it is outlet10. What price did you pay?

7.99 & 9.99. My slogan was "Cruisin' on the Disney Wonder" They said I couldn't say "Wonder" had to say "Disney Cruiseline"

STUPID!

I'll check the oulet because they are now 16.95 and they will not honor the original prices.

I was going to make the same suggestion as Lori about trying chewables for his migraines. How old is he? If he hasn't started swallowing pills yet, maybe that would be an alternative for him. That was one of the greatest things I taught my kids, it makes life so much easier when it comes to meds. (I used Mini M&Ms.) I taught them to swallow pills before they were 10. I can't wait until my 6 year old is able to, as well.

Conor suffers from migraines, too! :sad2:

I did too! You would not believe how many people cant swallow pills. The liquid stuff is worse than pill. The taste only will kill ya.
I too suffer from Migraines. They are horrible. I had to switch Doctor because the first one didnt want to hear migraine.I wasnt light sensitive. I told the new one I take 6000 mg of Motrin, 2 advil cold and sinus 4 excedrine migraine and nothing helps and my hair hurts. Then added I dont want narcotics-he said sounds like a migraine and gave me Zomig! I love it!

My kids were always awful about liquid meds. It's a nightmare when DD6 gets sick, it's one fight after another about taking the meds. Our Walgreens adds the flavors for kids and it still doesn't help. I've tasted it on several occasions, you can't even tell if there's a flavor added or not.

My best friend suffers from the most severe migraines of anyone that I have ever heard. On top of the daily meds she takes to prevent them, she has to give herself shots when they come on. There isn't a pill available that kicks them. She ends up being sick for close to a week. The meds that she takes are dangerous to her health but when she decreases the dosage, the migraines come constantly. It's just horrible! I hope and pray that Conor's don't ever escalate to that point. An E.R. doctor once told him to start taking Ibuprofen as soon as he feels one coming on, so it doesn't get too bad too fast. Uggggh! AWFUL! :sad2:

Patsy, I'm so glad you DID take your trip in June!

For Zei and Dawn
, definately try and get a dr's notes. There's got to be some relief there.

Kerry, sorry about your shirts. Can I help you in any way?
