I can not wait to vote this joker out of office.Indiana went to Daylight Savings time this year. Big ISSUE out here because they said the cows would not understandPiecey said:....Ohhh.. Lisa.. someone in my time zone, yay![]()
cows?
What's the issue, milk them when they are ready to be milked. (Keep in mind I am not a farm girl)

Do you have to have the travel channel to see that program? We have basic cable so no fancy channels.taeja71 said:DCL is on RIGHT NOW!!!

Is it different than the video they send when you ask for the travel planning kit?

, its too early. It is an insulin thing. My body seems to release too much whenever I eat any kind of carbohydrate--fruit has natural sugar, that does it to me too.taeja71 said:........Jan, how 'bout I trade you for a fruit salad........
and I crave carbs since it is insulin triggering it so I eat more carbs and produce even more insulin--cannot just use up what is there, crazy body,

My kids never went to bed until 10 or 11 anyway. Then they slept until 9 and we started our day then. During the school year they had to get up early so we let them run the summer on their own timeclocks which, I guess, coincided with Daylight Saving's Time. I never thought it was a problem. They were not outside whooping it up past 9 however.taeja71 said:.....It was nice to not have to worry about changing clocks for almost 12 years. It doesn't get dark here until 10pm now. How is that helping the kids to get to sleep? Fireworks at almost 10:30pm on 4th of july. Restaurants close earlier. Our man Mitch was hoping this would help our economy and our state, but who wants to stay up late doing it?No

JLSE50 said:Sleeping Beauty--there were businesses and utilities in Indiana that had several clocks because clients and customers lived in any of 4 or 5 time zones. It was amazing. Our DS#2 said it was INDIANA AMBIVALENT TIME because parts of the state did not change their clocks ever. Now I wonder if it was INDIANA COW TIME. But the cows in New York and Pennsylvania always did OK. Never heard anyone complain there. Here I hear people complain that the kids stay up too late and outside so they cannot go to sleep when they need to so that they can get up for work in the morning. Some in every area have to get white noise machines. But, of course, there are those who are only happy when they have something to complain about.Jan![]()
Sorry
Did not mean to offend anyone.
Please accept my apology.

That's why they had to have the clocks, so they knew what time it was when they called those customers or vice versa.Piecey said:Wow.. that is crazy. I can't imagine.
I'd look around the room and be like "AHHHHHHHHHH WHERE AM I?!?!?!"
No clocks in the bedroom or none in the whole house?Insomniacs (supposedly) aren't supposed to have clocks around them. Makes us too anxious, I guess, about the fact that we're not sleeping. Soo.. that many clocks just might give me a heartattack

That sounds nice. I want a small one to travel with. Right into the DVD player now that's what I'm talking about.NJBILL said:We just ordered a DVD Camcorder (our Anniversary present to each other).

You record on the disk and the pop it right into your DVD player....
My wife is always yelling at me for taking too many pictures on vacation..
I need to get a backup battery and some more disks for the trip...

I have a DVD Camcorder that I have had trouble with since I bought it. I get a lot of corrupt disc errors. At first I thought it was the discs but I am starting to think it's the camcorder. I really need to take it in and have it looked at. It's not old (but probably out of warranty with my luck) and it's barely used. The discs are costly, especially when you think they're corrupt and start a new one over and over. I have been using my digiital camera lately, it does sound and movies as well but I have this great camcorder, I really need to get it checked out.NJBILL said:We just ordered a DVD Camcorder (our Anniversary present to each other).
