I can't answer your questions but I could offer some suggestions...Call DCL and request that your party be seated at a table by yourselves. That way you eat at the pace your family normally eats.

When you get on board you could go to the Dining table (look at the navigator on embark. day) Verify there that you are at a table by yourselves. If not ask again for a table by yourselves. If you have a party of 4 or more you might be in luck.

Now if you want to dine with others, I can't help you. However, you could always just ask your server to bring out whatever you are ready to eat next. they do work for tips so I'm sure they will accomodate.

It doesnt bother me I can sit and wait!

I am a reallly fast eater too so I'm sure we can all just gab away before, during and after the eating festivities have begun.

Why has the DCL Discussion forum become this place for people to get on their soapbox about the world and how people treat each other? That s*cks! There is actually a DIS member who would have not taken a DCL trip if he had come to the boards prior to his first sailing Why on God's green earth would you let a complete stranger who you can't even see keep you from a Disney Cruise? Especially if you like/love Disney World? I just don't get it.

Kerry, I don't see the relavance of the thread either. It doesn't even belong in the DCL forum in my opinion. If any thing, it belongs in the thread that WDWlvr or lbgraves started two weeks ago. If this chics thread could be redirect under the mods thread, her thread would technically get buried. Who knows if they'll actually do any thing about it. I saw your post, you might want to PM wdwlvr or lbgraves about this recent thread. I'm not on their good side right now.

Dawn, do you have any Renn. pictures to post? Logan, you should've seen Jan's picture of her DH in a pirate coat. The fabric she was telling me about, you would've loved seeing and wearing it. I'm still working on my costume. I hope I can get it together in time.

I've got some fun pictures of my hubby in his costume, and my darling kiddies in theirs, but I wasn't able to get anyone to snap a shot of me in my new bodice. And then I got chicken pox. So maybe I'll get some this weekend. I intend to wear my bodice on the cruise, but I haven't got my husband's coat started yet, so you can't see that. And I haven't made my tricorne yet because my darling dear commandeered it for his Ren Fair costume. There should have been only two more weekends left, but guess what? The Fair announced that due to rain they're adding an extra weekend. That's just great, because they didn't tell the entertainers or the shop owners before they told the press! We found out by watching the news. Nice, huh?

So ladies...I have a question, and I would like an honest answer. Deadmentellnotales.com was out of the black spots, so I went to the craft store and bought materials and made black spots for the cruise. Now the black spots are back in stock, and I'm in a quandry. Is homemade good enough, or should I go ahead and buy the store brand? I asked my husband, but he gave me the man answer. ("I don't know, what do you think?") No offense, Bill, but you know how it is--he didn't know which answer would upset me, so he took the safe road.

Thank you everyone who answered my question about the airport. You can not believe how much you helped me! It really does make a difference to me to have an idea of what to expect.

How complicated would making black spots be? I can do basic stuff (any thing with straight lines involved), but otherwise, you don't want me near a machine or fabric. I instinctively choose the cheaper route, but if time is an issue, maybe buying would be better. There's my 2 cents.

I'm so glad we don't unleash on eachother.

WE dont drink either but I do want the Champagne and strawberries. Depending on the drink ONE puts me under the table!
