Haley is very shaky and dizzy if her blood is 47!!! She just tested a minute ago and was 66 and shaky wow 47 that requires some investigation :confused3

I looked it up and found this:
Somewhere in the 45 mg/dl range, most patients progress to neuro-glyco-penic ranges (the brain is not getting enough glucose). At this point, symptoms progress to confusion, drowsiness, changes in behavior, coma and seizure.

So I was close!

Vicki that's very scary especially since it's happened twice in a week! Is there a Dr. there you trust?

Scary... I hope you figure out what the problem is. :worried:

I liked your idea of Nassau morning. I think that's what you said. I will be around most of that day too.

Was it get together to assemble them and then hand out pirate night? I can't always keep up! We'll be jumping off the ship as soon as possible on the Nassau day so I may need to give them to someone the night before or something. Getting excited about Atlantis in Nassau.

All the goodie bag stuff sounds great, these kids are making out like.... well, you know, pirates, i guess.

Yeah My Dr. is really good! I like him. DH is getting a glucometer from work and bringing it home to keep track.

That is why diabetes is so scary because if your blood sugar is too low you can go into a coma or seizure or if its too high you can go into a coma. It is a constant struggle. The testing and needles and insulin are just a minor inconvenience its the unpredictability and the scary results that are frustrating.

Yes it is. And the long term effects are pretty bad too!

Tell me about it. That's the part I have the hardest time with. I just want her to have "normal" life and not have the complications.

Well the girls are nagging me for lunch and swimming so I guess I should get off my keister(sp?) and be the adult here :rotfl2:

Vicki take care and let me know if I can help in any way!

I also wanted to let all of you know that if you are interested Limited Too had skull and crossbone scarf type belts in black and white and blue and white. They are 10.50 but very very cute. They also had skull and crossbone rhinestone necklaces for $6.50. My girls all used their report cards for $5.oo off for all passing grades. They just combined the report cards and gave us 15.00 off the total bill.

Suzanne
I did not know they did this. Thanks for the info. They sound cute.

I did a little more digging, Kerry..
I found a Howard Johnson that has free shuttle service to Universal. They have an airport shuttle that is $15 one way.
I might just see if my cousin maybe has the day off or works a shift where he can get us one way or drop us off the other.. and stick to the Ramada (About 72 with taxes) that was by the airport.
Then if he can get us or drop us off we only have to foot the bill for a taxi one way... I don't know.
He's seriously a bit flaky and I'm not sure if I really trust him.. I will probably stick with the Ramada because at least then if I don't get the tickets from him I still have free shuttle service to the airport... and $45 roundtrip for two people to Universal is DEFINITELY worth it to get in free.
That seems incredibly low... though their webpage says they are only 12 miles out.

That's cool! If we had a little more cash on hand we would join you at Universal and just give you a ride. :thumbsup2 But alas, I used Kevin $$ for the Exoctic Rasul and the Couples Cabana Massage on Castaway Cay. ;)

You can give them to me if you want. I will PM you my room # and it is on the cruiser list. :thumbsup2

WOW!
The Renaissance Orlando Hotel Airport (Marriot!) for 59.99 a night, 65.78 after taxes.. and even better-- I DONT HAVE TO PAY UNTIL CHECK OUT! Which means I can use my financial aid money. This made my day.
They're twleve miles from Universal so the taxi ride shouldn't be that bad and either way, we're getting in for free. We can foot the bill. And if Aaron flakes out on the tickets, this is a reaallly nice hotel I wouldn't mind just chilling out in.

I'm so excited, things are starting to come together!
Michael and I may have to cancel our extras-- but just being there will be enough :) :)

Yeah!!!! I used to work at the Orlando Airport Marriott. That property was across the street. There is a lot of places to eat in the general vicinity and the Florida Mall and outlets are not too far away. It is a very nice hotel. That's a great deal!

You are more than welcome to drop them off at my cabin the night before if you want.

I was thinking 9-9:30am morning of Nassau Day and then we distribute to the moms for hand out at pirate night. Not everyone who is doing pirate goodies is linked dining wise so I would rather distribute after we put them together. I'm going to hide mine until dinner at Pirate Night.

Yay.
I'm getting so excited.
Wellll.. if I get these tickets from him there will be three.
I only need two.
*shrugs*

Big iffffff..
I may have to call my Aunt, be like "Your son is being difficult, get him in line!"

It is so weird to see the countdown in my signature say "30 days" I remember when it said 15 months!

i can not express how excited I am.

My son is shy too Suzanne. However, if your girls are blonde, not so much  :lmao:

He's going to love Holly and Heidi! ;)
