We got Rinker back today!!!!!!!!!

I called my Uncle and explained my plan to him. Explained to him that between Tom and I, he'd never be left alone for very long. He's baby-gated into a limited section of the house, and he's been housebroken. He's only 11 pounds, so physical damage is unlikely and in his two years he's never hurt anything at my parent's house.

He finally relented but said I am responsible for anything he tears up. The only thing Rink destroys is my Winnie the Pooh slippers, so I think I'm safe.

He's asleep in the papasan chair right now, very content to be home I think.
Tom and I are pretty sure he prefers living with us!

We're so glad to have him back!

We came home last night and he'd discovered where I'd boxed up all of his toys and he had them strung EVERYWHERE across the floor, and he was actually curled up in the box chewing on a bone.

Tom said "He's like a kid."
and I said.. "Nope! But he's pretty good practice!"

Ohh. Tom and I decided it was time to replace my car (it's been my only car-- a 98 cavalier I got in high school!)

We think we've decided on an 04 Grand Am SE.. boy is it PRETTY!

Tom's truck is paid off but horrible on gas so we wanted to buy a car we'd both be comfy in and could take on long trips. The trunk space is AWESOME!

Best part is, I've had my Cavalier almost 4 years and they're offering me almost $1000 more for trade than I paid for it in '04! (Don't tell! )
