Disney Wonder - October 14, 2012 - Hawaii

Hi everyone! We just got off the maiden voyage of the Fantasy and have booked Hawaii while onboard. We are so excited to be going, especially since its not much more of a wait! It'll be me and my husband. Leaving the high school and college freshmen behind. I'm already feeling guilty.

The skies were "moody" that day. We had some rain, but luckily it was a warm rain.

LKShep - College students need to learn to get a job that can pay for their cruise! LOL. That is a cool pic, BTW.

Thanks. Unfortunately there are many things on my list that I wish the college students would pay for themselves...

I am leaving my sons at the time will be age 20 ( sophmore in college) and 21 ( graduated college)..
In fact, this is the 3rd DCL cruise we have taken without them

I'm with you on the idea of cruising without the kids.

We actually took our first Disney cruise without any children and spent the whole time saying to each other, "We have to bring the kids. They would love this." So the kids came on the second cruise and we spent the whole time saying, "We have to do this again just the two of us!"

Looking likely like me, wife, DD (3), DD (2 at cruisetime) are coming along with friends plus their two DDs (3/1).

Pretty darn psyched cause we did Majic Med in June 2007 pre-kids and I can't wait to see the little ones go nuts!

Hi, My name is Tracy. My husband and 2 boys will be sailing to Hawaii with you all. This will be our second Disney cruise ~ We are keeping it a secret from our boys (12 & 9) until we pull up to the ship!

First time on a Disney cruise. We booked in October but it seems to be coming up quick now! Just got back from Disney World on Wednesday celebrating DS turning 7.
We've now booked Thursday-Sunday prior to the cruise in Disneyland - first time. Myself, DH, DD 9, DS 7 and DD will be 4 when we cruise Hawaii!

Do we have a list of who will be at DL prior to cruise?

Thanks for the welcome! I requested to be on the Facebook page without any replies thus far. Patiently waiting.
As for if we are going to be at DL, I'm not sure yet. I know we are flying over on Saturday, but I don't have the logistics of how we would get to DL, port, back to airport, etc. Still giving that some thought.

Now that our momentum is starting to build, is it time to set our cruise meet time and location? Or am I just so excited for that first day on board that I'm over planning?
Would love to do somewhere like the Promenade Lounge where there's room for the kids to run around and room for the non-kids to have a non-kid beverage.

The only list is the list of ppartekim. I think the easiest place to make a list is in the start of the thread. So if we get a second one we have to reserve several post for people who organize activeties. I hope you understand what i mean. On our WBTA 2011 thread there where lots of post to start with, with all the things what you can do with DIS and lots of information. That were the first 2 pages. I don't know if that is possible now on this thread? (and made it in the middle doesn't made sense I think)

We can make a list on Facebook to start and then here if possible. Let's make a list of all the activeties/post we want to do and see if there are some who want to organize. Maybe it is easier to start this on FB documents.

It's 6 month's to go, so let's start.

We are before the cruise in Disneyland. So we love to meet before. And then in the Promenade Lounge on departure day round 3 pm sound good to me. Then we could do the lanyards and meet everyone.

What a wonderful time. It was the first time we'd participated
in the FE. It was a lot of fun. Looked forward to going to our room each night and seeing what goodies we had . I've already started planning what I'm going to give. We had over 75 people for the Fantasy.

Hi My name is Pam and my husband Frank and I will be sailing to Hawaai in Oct. I see another Pam that just posted. We were on the Panama cruise in 01/2011 too. We just got back from the Fanatsy MV. Christine the cruise director was on our cruise as well as Max who had helped out with the Bingo on the Pananma Canal crusie.
