Disney Wonder March 20th 2011 sailing

I will have to catch up when I get back on what we are doing - I know I signed up for the FE and still want to do it but leave on Tuesday for the PC cruise.

Will check back when I get back to see what was decided.

Woohoo! So cool you are bringing the Wonder on her first trip West- to her new HOME here in LA!

I have decided to sign up for the FE. But, I am a little concerned that we haven't heard from our organizer too. I hope nothing has happened to her or her family. Yes, let's give it another week and see if she responds.

It's been a while since i log in that i forgot my password...lol...I'm glad holiday is over.

I think it would be ok to wait a week or two, she might have been real busy with the holidays and just hasn't been on this site. If it's any longer though it would probably be a good idea to divide the list into two and take it from there.

second the motion.

YAY! Just got in to make our reservations for Palo's, the spa and excursions! Now, the count down is on...

Haven't been on in a while but just got to pre register my girls for the kids program and register for an excursion so I am getting excited.

We are: Me (Nicole), my husband (Jon), and our 3 daughters, Makenna (11), Sophia (6) and Molly (3).

We are 1st time cruisers but long time Disney fanatics. We are in a family stateroom w/ verandah (rm 8584).

So far, the only pre booked excursion I have booked is Las Caletas in PV. Really wanted to zipline but with the ages of our youngest, we would have needed to split up or leave someone on the ship. Next time...

We know another family with little girls going on the cruise but their girls are 5 & 3 so no one for my oldest to bond with. How do I get in on this facebook group for the older kids? Makenna is very interested in getting to know some kids before the cruise. She is very friendly, a bit of a tomboy and gets along with both girls and boys.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better over the next 11 weeks. Can't wait for our 1st cruise!!!

We are very near you room-wise on the cruise, we're in 8572!
I have a 10 year old (almost 11, she's in 5th grade) daughter Grace and a 12 year old (6th grade) son Logan who will be on the cruise. They get along fairly well with each other and love making new friends. We should get them in contact with your older daughter.

Go back a couple of pages in this thread and there's a link to the kids' FB page where you/they can join.

So totally excited that we booked our excursions tonight.

We booked brunch at Palo on day 3, I didn't want to miss any of the dining room experiences at dinner since this is our first Disney cruise, so I think this will be a great compromise (plus I've heard brunch is great)

Booked excursions too: Zip Line in PV, Salsa and Salsa in Mazatlan, and Dolphin Swim in Cabo. The dolphin swim was the only thing my 10 yo daughter wanted to do on this cruise, so we caved and signed up.

I'm so ready to go, we started our 75 day exercise and healthy eating blitz until it's time to go!

Sounds perfect! Makenna will be so excited. I will go look for the fb info. She has a fb account and also email. What fun they are all gong to have!

My DD Elsa is 6. She loves the Oceaneer's club and will be happy to meet Sophia too.

I am thinking about doing the Dolphin swim with Makenna, my 11 yr old, in Cabo. I am not sure how I feel about the whole concept but I am curious to check it out.

We are also doing Palo brunch on day 3. A kid free, upscale style buffet lunch sounds nice and relaxing. :thumbsup2

I also have a 3 1/2 yo DD and nearly 6 yo DD. Glad to hear there will be plenty of girls to play with. They are going to have so much fun!

Unfortunately, we had to cancel the cruise. Please remove us from the FTE list. :(

Thanks!
Kim (Binkers)

This is my third time participating in a cruise meet. I have yet to see parents getting the kids together to meet. How about I organize a kids get together on the ship so they can all meet each other? Nothing special - just a date, time and a place.

Sounds like a great idea!
