Dave - If I had somewhere to store my luggage tomorrow I would consider meeting you guys - Have a party to go to in south orange county tomorrow night and would love to spend the later afternoon at the house of the mouse ! Beisdes Denver and I dont wait in lines Im kinda fun to have around for that purpose....

Verrrrry interesting. I am happy Wednesday and Friday haven't changed, so our SEs on those days remain the same. I really wanted to see Mazatlan (we were going to do the Folklorico show and tour), but, hey - $$ saved and one less day to get up early. I am sorry for the beach riders, though.

This is really uncool. I had plans for Randi's horses for my DD's b-day and she was sitting with me while reading these posts and now she's crying. That is not exactly the reaction I wanted when I booked this. Disney could have let us know so we didn't have to find out. Maybe not, I dunno, I'm just ticked. And I'm a super-mellow guy so it's hard to tick me off. But.....geez I dunno. I gotta go think of something to say to Alex. Her b-day is an at-sea day now, which of course is great, it's a Disney Cruise, but.... Aw crud.

Oh no!! I guess I haven't watched the news. My husband said it's probably because somebody got killed there the other day. Well at least they are trying to keep us safe so that's good. Randi never got back to me about the horses so I guess it's a good thing I didn't book that. Somebody just told me by next year there will be no ships going to Mexico. Is that true? They said they are going to be sailing out of Florida because of all the violence.

What is everybody doing in Cabo?

You know, I'm wondering (no pun intended) if a new set of shore excursions is now going to open up?? We can't book online because it's too close to sailing, but maybe we can on board. Anybody know what's fun in Cabo?

I am sure they will offer more stuff - When I called tonight to confirm the lady said they were working on a letter to give to cruisers at the port and that other excursions were going to be avail - Dont know if they mean ones that booked out will be avail again or what ? I guess Cabo will see lots of money in the next few weeks ay ?

Yea.. it was my birthday gift to myself.. i am really bummed..

Also my hubby got up early ages ago to book Palo for my B-day on the 25th.. which will now be a Cabo day, so no Palo brunch...

i'm a little upset and have shed a few tears...

At the same time.. it's a disney cruise.. so it will still be fabulous...

Is there ANYWHERE else we can horseback ride on the beach? I have never been in that area before so i have no idea what to expect...i really was so excited...

I dont handle change very well.. and this is a HUGE shock to my system less then 2 days before we sail... sigh

i'm trying to adapt.. it will still be so much fun.. but.. at the same time, not exactly what was planned for the last year +

I also feel bad for Randi because they expected so many people to come and now noone will be there... i'm sure that will be a loss to their families as well...

i'm heading to bed.. we just realized that Lizzy has outgrown her shorts, so i need to go buy her a few pair tomorrow... ya know the busy busy busy day before we leave! hahaha Oh yea, and the school district is having a school fair where we can sign up for a lottery on a magnet school for out kids... soi need to do that as well.. so much fun in one day!

Have i mentioned i am not packed yet? hahah i think i need to do laundry still! hahaha

Well.. have a great night ya all, travel safe, and i'll see you at 2:30 on the promenade! We may miss Mazatlan, but we will still have fun fun fun!

Been doing some research (it's what lawyers do when we don't know what the heck we're doing). I found the universally accepted best place for horseback riding. I'm gonna send them an email and see what they have to offer us. Maybe we can get a group discount and some perks like transportation, etc., if we have enough interested people. Not like it's last minute or anything.....

Cathy, we live in Central California (Bakersfield) about 1hr and a half north of L.A. I'm glad to know our kids are around the same age! My kids are very social and entertaining they can't wait to make friends to hang out with at the oceaners lab. Hope to meet you guys at the Promenade on Sundau.
