We just booked our trip for March. My boys will be 28 months. Is there anything that we shouldn't miss? Shouldn't attempt? We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. We are so excited!!!:cool1:

We took DS for the first time at that age and stayed at POR. His favorite part of that trip was Disney transportation! He LOVED the buses, the monorail and the boat ride from POR to Downtown Disney. If your kids love the monorail, be sure to take it from Epcot to MK (or vice-versa.) We did this several times and then took the bus back to the resort. He loved all the rides other than The Great Movie Ride (we had a REALLY loud guide.) His favorite rides were the Goofy roller coaster, Small World, Tomorrowland Transit Authority and all the Dumbo-type rides. He loved the characters. At Epcot, his favorites were The Living Seas and the jumping fountain outside the Imagination pavillion. Both of my kids (DD two years older than DS) were frightened by the Bug 3D movie at AK. Oh, they LOVED the Boneyard at AK and the Honey, I Shrunk playground at MGM. Have fun!!!

Awesome! Our twins went to WDW at that age too! Very, very, very fun. Main suggestion I can give is to take your time and go at their pace. Bring a comfortable stroller from home, one that reclines and has big canopies, so they can nap right in the stroller if they get tired out. Our normal schedule here at home was shot out the window once we got in Disney. My twins were tired at very odd times in Disney; therefore, we let them nod off and take cat naps in the stroller whenever they needed to. If you make set dining reservations, be prepared to possibly have to change the times or cancel because it's hard to know when the kids will be tired or hungry. DH and I would skirt in restaurants when the twins fell asleep in the stroller and it would give us a chance to relax and have a quiet meal. Restaurants let us bring our stroller right to our table if the twins were sleeping. We just had an all-around great time. I'm very happy for you!

Our twins were almost that exact same age on their first trip. I agree with the pp - go at their pace, you'll have a blast. Such great memories, it was a fun age for us.

We had no schedule at Disney, just let them fall asleep when they needed to and if they happened to be sleeping during a sit down meal, the stroller came right to the table.

My girls LOVED all the parades, most of the rides, all of the characters.

Enjoy yourself and have fun!

How FUN! You are going to have a such a good time, we brought my 2 year old GS last year for his 2nd B-day, and it was the most amazing thing just watching his face, he would just laught, giggle and say "wow" all day and night, too cool. and You get that times 2!!! Agree w/other posters, take it slow, don't try to see everything, enjoy everything you do see and don't stress it- we had said when we too my GS whatever we missed he didn't know about anyway, so he didn't miss it!! Believe me, 2 year olds find fun in everything so if you see 1 ride a day, they are happy just being there! Catch the parades and fireworks if you can, Nemo in Epcot was one of his favs, also Buzz (of course!) in MK and Small world, I think he sang through the entire ride! Have the camera/video ready :)
