So first off.... speaking of songs- which is what the post is about!

I am now OBSESSED with the Walt Disney Station on Pandora! Now I can take Disney with me everywhere.... in the car... and even in the shower! (there is an app for the iphone as well as online)

SO in between job hunting- I think I finalized a lot of the music for the ceremony and reception, (I had posted a rough list earlier in the PJ) this is what I have so far as well as the timeline for the reception events!

PRE-CEREMONY

Guests Entering- Still deciding if I should have music playing or not. Maybe something like classical stuff? OR Just have Clair de Lune on repeat, since it is so pretty!
(I don't want to use the Disney Fairytales Wedding CD here, because some of the songs are in my ceremony- and I don't want guests to hear them twice)

I also want Kingdom Hearts II Music - Title Screen (Dearly Beloved) to play right before the ceremony officially starts.

I have also been pondering dancing with my mom because she is so special to me. I would use Carrie Underwood Mama Song as well. So of course I think that is a fantastic idea!!!

Can I say I'm extremely jealous you get to use Disney songs to walk in to?! =P I've been fighting with my mother tooth & nail about walking in to Part of Your World or A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes. But she's not having it! She throws in my face that it's bad enough I'm not getting married in a church! Plus my DF agrees with her about the music! Argh! (Not the church part) Wah! =[

Yes... LOVE Kingdom Hearts!! The music is so awesome, even if the CDs have like 50 songs each... haha I could listen to them all day every day!

LOVE that Carrie Underwood song! Totally makes me tear up! I don't want to take away from like the father/daughter relationship and the "special" dance, but I feel like both of my parents are equally important to me, and I can't put one above the other, and my wedding is already kinda different anyways- so I am totally just going to run with it! I just hope everyone doesn't mind sitting through all the dances, and speeches BEFORE dinner.. haha.. oh well that is what cocktail hour is for

Awww.. You should try to work with them on that!! I think especially for an at-home Disney wedding, the music would really set the tone, and really make guests feel the Disney vibe for sure. Disney music is so recognizable and your guests will really feel the pixie dust!

I fought the battle with the Church thing, and they came around- it might just take some time, and if they see how important it is to you, they might reconsider... haha I told my Dad, and outside wedding was better, because I was closer to God because there was no roof over my head...

So I worked on my mock std's, invites, rsvp cards, and website inserts.

I have the same concept, but just changed them up a little bit. As you can tell I have fallen in love with the Mickey and Minnie kiss silhouette, so I am trying to tie everything together. I changed the background of the std to white instead of the original black-which I figured will severely drain my ink cartridges...

So back in November, when I first looked at dresses at David's Bridal I brought in my dream dress picture- and alas, she said they did not carry anything like that. In December, I get a call from my consultant saying she just got the new 2011 catalog in and there is a dress featured that looks identical to my dream dress- and she says as soon as she saw it she thought of me and called right away!

So I have been waiting for this dress to come in, and 3 appointments later- still nothing...

UNTIL TODAY!

I have an appointment for tomorrow at 12, to try on this dress:

It is a little over my budget, but my mom said if I love it, we can make it work!

Now, granted sometimes what you think you like, you end up not liking, but I won't know until I try it on...

Worse comes to worse I still have three other beautiful dresses to chose from as well.

I will let you know how it goes!!

Can't wait to hear more about the dress! I also got mine from David's Bridal. I was lucky, because it only took me one trip to find my dress. We went rather early, but we just wanted to get a feel for what was out there and we tried on a few things. I fell in love with a dress which was on clearance and the last one in my size - so I had to buy it! I'm glad I did so I don't have to worry about it anymore.

And by the way, I LOVE your monogram! How did you design it? I want to make something as well, some sort of logo or monogram, but I don't really know how to go about starting to do that. Everyone's on here looks awesome.

I had never seen the Disney Kiss poster - I love it! Now I am trying to think of some way to incorporate it into my wedding as well!

Yes, David's Bridal is proving to be my go-to store! I have gone to several boutiques and other smaller stores, but they don't seem to have enough help or enough dresses to even consider, not to mention the prices!

I am hoping to buy a dress no later than the end of Feb. Who knows, I might be purchasing a dress today!

I wish I could find one on nice clearance in my size.... haha you lucky thing!

Thanks! I actually just googled some monogram and script "J"'s and got a sense for how they looked, and then I used a font I liked, and added the swirl and little details including the mouse! You can find a lot through google images, and I do all my editing through MS Paint, because it is simple and to the point. If you need help I could always help out! But, yes I am in LOVE with my monogram... haha I want to put it everywhere!

I have always loved that poster!!! I have thought about adding a picture of me and DF kissing somewhere in the middle, so we can have our own "Disney Kiss" as well!

OK.

So I just got back from my dress shopping and I am just frustrated! I went alone- so I didn't really have anyone's input on the dress other than my own. But now I am just so confused!!

I like the dress I tried on, but I also like the other 3 too I didn't really have a "this is the one" moment from any of them- but I like all of them equally. I know this is the style I like, so I know its not that. But I am just so indecisive I can't really decide.

The dress I tried on today is only on sale until Monday- so I feel rushed, and they didn't have the 2 others I tried on before, so I really couldn't compare, and I still have to be mindful of the price.

I will post the pictures of my top four in no particular order. Dress 3 & 4 were taken from an odd angle so they make me look heavier than I am and they were taken at an earlier date.

I am really at a loss, and don't know if I should choose one of these four, or keep looking?

(EDITED- I am scared DF will find my PJ, so I have deleted the dress pics for now! )

AND I didn't get the job I had an interview for- and just an overall stressful day....

ON a brighter note, I popped into Ross which is right next to David's Bridal, I found this little gem for $12! I want to use it for the gift table to put the cards in- but might use it at the sweetheart table, either way it is too cute!
