Wowzers girl! Lots of stuff going on..
First off, love the shot glass idea! I think they're soo cool with the colors on the bottom of them! You should be able to do Mickey or you'd be surprised how many places actually already have Mickey in their clipart galleries.One site I know we're probably using is discountmugs.com and they have a Mickey/Minnie in a heart graphic you could put on them if that helps you? You can do a mix of Mickeys & Game overs? That way you both get your way. haha. Plus you said you guys play video games a lot right??
Onnnnnto the next part.. SO jealous of your cd! I WANT it. ASAP. I wanna buy it on itunes actually haha. And as far as your cake goes.. I think the cupcake ideas with the little ears is soooo friggn adorable and fits your personality a lot better. If I wasn't going so super elegant with our wedding I'd so jack your idea and be using it at my wedding too!I'd see if you could stick to that and then do like a 2 tier cake on top so that you guys can cut it and what not. That way no copyright worries with the cupcakes if your just placing little wafer circles in their that just HAAAAPPEN to look like Mickey's ears?

DF got the CD from Amazon, I think $16? I just like to have physical copies of CD's I actually PAY for..

OMG I am sorry you are having so many problems with this Let's start from the beginning. You can find cupcake cake trees here for around $30
You can put the top two tiers you want on the top level. Or you can just by a cupcake tree and display the actual cakes on the side or in front or you can put the two cakes in the middle and surround with the cupcakes like this

] or you can buy edible fondant with Disney elements yourself and have them put them on or someone you know could do it as well. This etsy seller makes edible Disney fondant for cakes

On another note, your DF is super sweet for getting you the CD, I have a Disney playlist on Pandora radio and I listen to it all day at work
I like your ideas for the favors the ones that are colorful on the bottom are really cute, and your groomsmen will love those mugsI hope everything gets resolved with the cake/ cupcake problem. OH and I love that idea for the cupcakes with the ears super cute

I told DF I was bragging about him on the boards, and he came over to read the posts over my shoulder... he had a cute little goofy smile on the whole time! YES! Pandora is the greatest invention in history!!
I like the shot glasses too! And if they don't drink maybe they can use it as a votive candle holder or something?
Our groomsman are quite the drinkers so they will LOVE those steins.. Thanks for the encouragement!! I will make those mickey ear cupcakes work if I have to physically put them on the day of my wedding in my wedding dress if I have to!!

I think I could argue that just putting two circles in a cupcake breaks any copyright laws... It's not my fault if THEY think it is supposed to be a Mickey

I was beginning to think I was going to have to change my idea for my centerpieces. But again- the dollar store came through offering 4in and a 2-pack of 3 in Styrofoam balls for a dollar each!! So we were back in business!!
