Disney Wedding = Annual Passes

i've noticed a couple of ppl had mentioned getting annual passes to disney once they signed they're contract for a wedding at disney.. so my question is if you have a DFTW do you automatically get annual passes? also are they good for just disneyworld orlando or all the disney theme parks ? and how long are they good for?

Yes, once you sign and send back your contract and it is processed, they send you the annual passes. It took awhile to get them, but trust me, it is well worth it. They are good from one year after you use it the first time. We signed our contract at the end of October, but we did not recieve our passes until mid February. (one week after we came back from our planning session ) but we're excited to use them come June!!!

Your not actually guarenteed to get them, i have heard a few people mention they did not get them. I think it may only be for custom weddings also. We got ours through a week or so after signing our contract which was fab as we were heading over for a planning trip. They are valid for 1 year from the first day you get them and it gives you access to MK, Epcot, MGM and AK. You can pay extra and upgrade it to a premium AP, this includes the water parks, pleasure island and disney quest. You just pay the difference in price which is about $140 per person including tax.

we got AP when we had our wedding in WDW. they are good for a year, and they're only good for WDW. they are good to the year that you cash them in. for example, we used our passes on September 28, 2004 and they were good until September 28, 2005. i hope you get the passes. they do come in handy. it's one less thing to buy.

I think (which somtimes isn't my stongest point this late in the school year ) that I have also heard of some intimates getting the passes. Am I off my rocker today? Someone let me know if I am wrong...

In the past few years I have only heard of Custom Wedding couples receiving the passes.
