Disney WEB Site serious issues?

Does anybody else notice that the Disney site is consistently one of the slowest sites on the internet? In addition, when trying to use the calendar, it not only slows down even more (30 seconds to load a calendar after specifiying a date), but you have to search 2 or 3 times instead of once to get it to work. What happens is that you have a calendar on the left and a park at the top. If you change the park, the date goes back to the current month and you have to put a new month again. It's very annoying.

That is because of the amount of traffic the site generates. There are times when this site is slooooow as well.
What kind of connection are you using?

with speed, but yes, the month/park thing is annoying.

I have lots of problems here, though! Sometimes this is so slow, there's no point in trying, and other times it won't let me in at all.

I can never get the AP passholder section to take my info and give me access.

Disney has the Delta airlines sigth beat by a mile. When Disney gets as slow as Delta then I will worry!

I have a cable connection and a fractional T1 at work. It's always slow and a lot of time, like last night, I was on at 2am. Very strange. They need more servers and some load balancing. I thought Disney was the king of technology. Oh well.

Dan Murphy, i too can not get on the passholder site. my friend has no problem. a CM told me they were having problems w/that portion of the website. seems odd friend can get on,but not me!

I've never had problems with speed at the Disney site, but I do find navigating the calendar annoying. I still love the site though. I just downloaded the holiday screensaver yesterday - love it!
