My boys just loved going to Typhoon Lagoon last summer, so we are considering going to Disney the water parks and Quest for 6 days. We have the free ticket voucher, so we would spend a day at the park. Does this sound crazy? We are thinking about getting a water park and Quest Annual pass.

No, we used to do that all the time. I've always had seasonal annual passes, which block us out over a good chunk of the summer. So my kids and I would go up every summer and spend 3-4 days at the resort, and only go to Disney Quest and the water parks. We always had a blast. We would putt putt too, and we always had plenty to do. Now the kids are 17 and 19 and I'm thinking about doing it again this summer!

We have had them several times and love them. Right now we have theme park APs and I cannot wait until May 2011 to go to TL! I am also looking forward to a few games at DQ!
It is a nice, relaxing vacation in that you are not setting an alarm to be at a park at rope drop. We sleep in and hit TL at its 10 o'clock opening, spend a few hours, go to the resort for lunch and head back to TL late afternoon thus avoiding the crowds. After dinner we head to DQ for a few hours but usually end up closing the place down.
I could do the waterpark thing every year but only want to do the theme parks every 5 years or so. It is a different Disney vacation you might find suits your family perfectly.

Interesting that you posted this because this is something that I have been considering also. Because of the past promotions that added the Water Parks and More to your passes for free we have TONS of Water Park uses left (we paid for them to not expire). We are thinking of maybe going in the fall if they offer Free Dining, but I am not thrilled with the idea of park touring in the heat and humidity of August so I suggested that maybe we would just go to the water parks and DQ. We would get whatever we need to for park passes to qualify for Free Dining and probably just save those.

We also have a few tix at home with an day or two left on them so maybe just hit a park or two in the morning or evening to do a few of the new things my kids haven't done yet or a few favorites but basically just enjoy the things we never really get time for. I am sure we would love to do the Miniature Golf, and we can go to the Poly beach to see the MK fireworks.

I wanted to go on a cruise but that is out of the budget, so this might be a way to get in some relaxing family time with lots of water fun.

The WP/DQ AP is $129 adult or $99 ages 3-9 (plus tax) and is good for one year from date of purchase for unlimited visits to all three.
