Saturday is errand day around our house, so my husband and I left as normal. We saw the usual Disney stuff that makes us smile - Mickey antenna toppers, bumper stickers, etc.

At lunch we had a mom wearing a WDW shirt and hat, and a girl in a separate family was wearing leopard print ears. We smiled at each other wondering when each family had been on their vacations, knowing that our trip is less than 4 months away. It gave us extra smiles.

Then we went to the grocery store. In the produce section a man is wearing a DCA sweatshirt. We are super-excited about our upcoming trip to DLR because the two of us have never been together. We assumed he must be a fan as he's wearing his sweatshirt around in public. I decide to talk to him. In my naive enthusiasm, I approach the gentleman and say "Did you visit recently? We are going in May and are so excited." His response: "Okay." Guess he doesn't get excited over strangers' trips? :confused3 Boy, did I feel like a dummy thinking everyone was like the DIS and would be excited about our trip! Oh well - I'm still excited about my trip and everyone else's as well. pixiedust:

Me too, I also get just as excited for others' trips as I am my own. It always brightens my day when I see Disney memorabilia around.

YAY for Disney! :cool1:

I feel the same enthusiasum that you do. I makes me feel so sad for the person, who "obviously" isn't as excited to talk about the parks as I am. Your post made me smile, PP.

I would hug anyone that would come up to me and talk to me about Disneyland!!

Well, DBF's next door neighbor always wears this Disneyland jacket. Everyday. Well, every time I see him he's wearing it. I think he wears it just because it's a nice jacket more than the fact it has Disneyland on it. If someone were to come up to him and talk to him about Disneyland, I'm sure he would be like the guy you talked to (or tried to talk to).

Another YAY for Disney from me!! :cool1:

Haha, I bet his DW is a Diser and she gave it to him. What a poor unsuspecting soul! :rotfl2:

Thanks for letting me know I am not crazy for my enthusiasm! I just get so excited and would welcome any "live" discussion of anything Disney. At least I can come here for my fix! :goodvibes

I saw a guy wearing a DL sweater at my work. I told him I liked it and asked when hed been and he was like um...a while ago and then wandered off. Thats while I like it here on the Disboards because everyone's excited and is willing to answer your crazy questions. :grouphug:

I cannot take my kids ANYWHERE without being sidetracked by all the hidden mickeys.:cheer2:
Even my 6 year old went number #2 in the potty at WDW and screamed "Mommy I made a hidden Mickey!"
