Saturday is errand day around our house, so my husband and I left as normal. We saw the usual Disney stuff that makes us smile - Mickey antenna toppers, bumper stickers, etc.
At lunch we had a mom wearing a WDW shirt and hat, and a girl in a separate family was wearing leopard print ears. We smiled at each other wondering when each family had been on their vacations, knowing that our trip is less than 4 months away. It gave us extra smiles.
Then we went to the grocery store. In the produce section a man is wearing a DCA sweatshirt. We are super-excited about our upcoming trip to DLR because the two of us have never been together. We assumed he must be a fan as he's wearing his sweatshirt around in public. I decide to talk to him. In my naive enthusiasm, I approach the gentleman and say "Did you visit recently? We are going in May and are so excited." His response: "Okay." Guess he doesn't get excited over strangers' trips?
Boy, did I feel like a dummy thinking everyone was like the DIS and would be excited about our trip! Oh well - I'm still excited about my trip and everyone else's as well.
