Dh applied by phone about 10 days ago and his card came today, but my card was not included. Yea, just in time we leave for Disney in 4 days. The card looks sharp and I love DVC member imprinted at the bottom.

Same thing happened to us. My card came, but DH's didn't.

When I called they said only the primary cards were sent out in the first batch and the others would follow in about 5 days. They had all his info - just sending the card out separately.

Not the brightest way to handle it from my perspective but I'm not running the show.

Received my card, but no PIN???
I thought we were to get a free PIN w/ the Disney Credit Card???

Did anyone get there pin w/ the card??

I believe you get the pin after you make your first purchase using the card.

I didn't get mine yet but I called 1-800-777-1240 and they told me that I was approved and the cards were sent out on 3/6/03. Now I don't know if I should cancel my original Disney Credit Card or not.

When you activate your card at the 1-800 number, if you stay on the line you are given the opportunity to choose a PIN number. I think you can call the number later to choose a PIN if you did not do so originally, but I'm not sure - you should probably contact Bank One to double-check.

Mur!

owensamo - I think dtheboys was referring to the "collector's pin" mentioned in the promotional literature that would come with the card...

Working for a bank, though, I thought the same as you, at first, when she said PIN. When we talk about PIN's at work - we definitely aren't talking about the shiny kind with Mickey Mouse on them!! :)

Aha! I see. I'd just activated my own card, so I guess the PIN was what was most prominent in my mind, especially since dtheboys capitalized it. :)

As for the pin, I thought that you got that after your first purchase on the card. I have no idea where I might have seen that, but that was the impression I had gotten.

Still anxiously awaiting our cards. We are about to purchase another 100 pts at the BCV and I want to put it on the Disney card. I figure that's a pretty good first purchase in order to get the pin.

Received single card though ordered two (apparently second one is to be shipped later). Also got PIN (the number not the article) by calling in to activate. Noticed a limitation of which users should be aware. There is a sunset provision for the Disney awards dollars -- you have 60 months to use awards dollars issued in any given month or lose them.

TNDisneymom - how did you get "DVC" imprinted on your card? Did the ask if you were in DVC when you applied or did you have to tell them? Thanks!
