Has anyone heard about or received an application for the new Visa Card from Disney? I can't seem to find out any more information than what I read in a news article announcing it.

I was sent an online survey from Disney about the card and I was given the impression that it wouldn't be out until next year.

I have had a Bank One VISA for years, but have not received anything yet.

I participated in the survey, too, and I hope it will offer points that can be used towards the cruises. We get Amex points and used to have a MyPoints card till it went under (it was issued by the now-defunct NextCard). I LOVE to get paid for spending money!

Yes, it will replace the current card and will be the official card of WDW from what I have been told.

It looks interesting, but I hope the rewards aren't just the same kind of discounts we always get with both the Disney Club card and Annual Passes and DVC. Most of those are unusable for DVC members, since we don't really need WDW lodging.

I was involved with the on-line survey about the Disney Visa card. They asked a lot of questions about which benefts I would prefer. I would LOVE it if they rewarded you with meal or show coupons after you use your card. Wouldn't it be great to get discounts at the parks after you paid for the trip on your card?

Have to see what happens next year..

Hmm...we have a Disney Credit Card and an Am Ex card that we use for our disney trips only so we can get the discounts.

So when this Disney Visa card comes out I wonder if we'll get to ditch both and just use the one and get the same discounts? I hope so!
