Well, I finally got the Disney Visa I applied for when they were giving free dining to Disney Visa holders! Anyone else get one?

I have a Disney Visa and did not know of this. Which bank is it from and what are the details?

This was the same promo that Disney did for free dining only Disney Visa holders were able to book a few days earlier than the rest.

I finally got mine too. Since it took awhile I had to put deposit on another card. I'm wondering if 6 months free interest apply to the balance. Chase told me it would but I've seen it written that the deposit had to be made on the visa.

I don't know. I got one but I don't know what the requirements are.

I am a newbie here but not to DW.... Forgive me if I am not in the loop... ... I am trying to plan a trip for October and have all kinds of great info, Do you have a link or website that I could read up on this free dining for visa card holders??? And do you know when the free dining is? Or is this the Aug - Sept promotion??

Hi! Welcome to the Dis! The free dining is now available to everyone, but it may be all booked up depending on your dates, resort you want, etc. It was originally available for checkins Aug. 13 to Sept. 30 I believe. You no longer have to have a Disney Visa to book it, they just let Disney Visa holders have the first shot. If you checked in on Sept. 30 then went into Oct. you would be eligible. Good luck!

I didn't mean to confuse any newcomers! I guess I shouldn't assume everyone's a DIS addict like me.

I applied for the Disney Visa when the current free dining promotion first started and was for Disney Visa holders only. I and a few other Disers thought that if we got the visa we could get the promo before it opened to the general public. Much to our dismay, we got the "we'll notify you by mail" response. I was just posting that I finally got the visa in the mail --way after the promo was open to the public.
