Disney Visa Questions?

Can someone help me? DH and I are considering getting a Disney Visa. Mostly for the early promo deals at WDW. IMHO I don't think there are many other benefits as my Discover offers much better returns.

My question is this. I read on the board a little bit ago that Visa was offering 200pts to some people for initial sign up. I know this was offered to only some individuals as a pin. However, I am wondering....do you think if I called Chase and told them I would sign up IF they offered me the 200 pts? Do you think they would? I know it would not hurt to ask but I wonder if anyone else has done this and their results.

There is a link going around for the 100 dollar credit.... I can't remember if its the gift card or a statement credit. You could try and call and ask... Its probably hit or miss. I think I remember reading someone called and they put in for it for them... but someone else Had to approve it. I do not know what the outcome was.
When I got my Disney visa many years ago I only got 20 dollar credit! BOO
The main perk of the card is the 6 month financing of your trip.... with no interest. I honestly think the points you collect are a joke! You have to spend a lot just to get 1 disney dollar! I get almost 2000 dollars in rewards from my citi card.... a year...so the disney points system is a joke! Its for the financing of your disney trip and early offers...

Thanks. I agree that the free 6mo financing is nice. I may just try to give them a call and see what I can get.

Does anyone else think I'm nuts for applying for the $200 gift card offer that was sent to me in the mail? I already have a disney visa, but $200 is pretty tempting even if I only use it for disney trip. I have excellent credit so I'm sure I could take any temporary hit. Anyone else done this?

I don't. I am thinking of doing the same thing. Did you just recently get your code? If it is going around i may have a better chance of getting it.
