Disney Visa Promo question

I read on the boards that if you put your deposit for DVC on your Chase Disney Visa card you should get $500 in reward points. I called Chase and the woman I spoke with said the promo expired 1/28/08, but that I should be able to get the promo since the people at DVC are accommodating and would be more than happy to do it. She said that my guide should have the code and I should be all set. I spoke with my guide and she says NO!! So wo do I believe? I would really love the extra $500. Thanks.

I did that and I didn't get a credit!

Usually with DVC, once a promotion is over, it is over. I doubt, if you buy now, that you'll get the $500. Even those that did purchase during the promotion are seeing delays in processing.

We purchased in September and finally received our $500 rewards dollars yesterday. Unfortunately, Chase has to be watched closely with the 6 month 0% financing as they have charged us interest this month. They tell me they would have to send my "request" to marketing.
