Hey guys,

My wife and I just applied and were approved for this Disney Visa Premier Card from Chase. I already had the regular card and upgraded to premier, and this is my wife's first Disney Visa.

There is a $49 annual fee, but the $200 statement credit after first purchase is a GREAT deal. Other deals gave you maybe $100 in gift cards after spending $500 in 3 months or something.

So that's a total of $300 after annual fees of basically free money. You can use your card right away with your disneyworld account.

Check it out!

That's the one I did and I received a $200 Disney gift card instead of a statement credit. Good thing I opened what looked like junk mail and found it as I was expecting an automatic statement credit.

They better give me a statement credit or I'll make very sure they fix it since the offer was so explicit.

Call me an idiot but where do you get $300 worth of free money? I may just be having a brain fart lol how do you get $300 from $200?

I'm not a big credit card fan but I'm pondering this one. Does the info say how long this deal will be going on?

I don't know for now long but I know just going to the Disney visa site is only $100 you have to go to Disneyworld.com and click it from there to get $200. Just got mine this week!

I read it to mean that he and his wife each got the $200. offer = $400. - $49 annual fee x 2 [fee for each credit card] = $300. [okay, okay; technically $302.] I would like to do this, but my DH and I both already have the regular Disney Visa and the terms clearly state for "first-time card members with new accounts . . . Previous and existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for this bonus offer." I would want to upgrade only.
