I just booked 7 nights at PoP for 2 adults with 8 day park hopper- the price for Quick Service was 20% off the full price and the price for sit-down was 18 % off the full price of the package. So for quick service for 2 adults for seven nights it would have been an extra $526 dollars with no discount- instead it was an extra $78- that comes out to $5 per person per day for food at Disney. Almost as good as free dining.
I could have booked at an All Star for $90 less so quick service dining there would have actually been less than no dining at PoP but if I have to stay value I prefer Pop. (to upgrade to table service would have been $252 more which is the actual difference between the two plans all of the time so there was no discount there- the discount was off the Quick Service base price)
