Disney Visa Meet and Greet

Anyone know which characters typically meet at the Visa meet and greet at California Adventure?

It's usually different and I have found they won't tell you until you go back there. I have personally met chip and dale (together) stitch (alone) and Mickey and Pluto (together).

It has typically been Stitch or Minnie, but this summer they briefly took out Stitch and add Daisy, then added Stitch back making it a rotation of 3. This was a couple of months ago, the lines have been long recently so I've stayed away

We were just there in Oct and they were rotating between Stitch, Minnie, and Daisy. My daughter got 2 pictures with Daisy over the course of 2 days, because Minnie left right as we were next in line. We didn't care though, the free print was an extra in our minds

How does this work? This will be our first visit with a Disney Visa and didn't know about this M&G.

Pinup, you just go to the designated cardmember location in DCA & show them your Disney Visa card to meet the character. You then go to the Photopass store in DCA to pick up your print.

Is the line typically pretty long? Even during the 'slow' season?

If we go one day and it's a crappy character (Stitch) can we go back a different day or something to try to get someone better?

We went 2 days in a row (Oct 17 & 18 - a Fri & Sat) and the line was not long on either day. I don't think that many people know about it. And it's really hidden in DCA. You have to know where to go to find it.

You are allowed one print per day, so yes you can go back another day for another shot. We did, and got 2 prints over 2 days. They were both with Daisy.. but, we happened to like both prints and they were free, so can't complain.

Awesome. We never pay to get photos at DLR. We just have the photopass person use our camera. But since this is free, we thought we'd give it a shot (unless our son hates characters.)

i met minnie in june 2013 at the visa meet and greet in DCA.
its not nearly as special as the one at epcot though in my opinion.
you are basically meeting the character where CM's are having a smoke break and minnie seemed almost annoyed to meet us.

there was absolutely no line.
thats probably because its so out of the way and there are no CM's around.
we happened to see some smoking so we walked over and asked if we were at the right place.

We were there from Nov. 2-8 and saw the combo of Minnie, Stitch and Daisy. It's over by the Designated Smoking Area and never have I ever seen a CM smoking in that area. If they smoke, I believe they do it backstage and not out in public.

They must have extended the hours because I remember it to only be the first hour after DCA opens. Now the sign says from 10:30a to 1:30p.

I'm not able to compare DCA's Meet N Greet to Epcot, but I agree, the backdrop is not fabulous at DCA. We've met the characters probably hundreds of times between all our trips and our two cruises (where they're all out all day), we just wanted the free prints. But if someone doesn't make it, it's not a huge loss!

It's in Hollywoodland, past Monsters Inc. in the far corner.
