Disney VISA free dining code QXZ

Ok... How did you all get expedited shipping or were able to use this online? I applied last night and all I can get is that I'll be notified in 10 days in writing. As of last night, if I change my existing reservation, I'll save just under $1000 so I applied for the card but I'm sure that the availability will be gone in 10 days!

Do you have a phone number that you called to get a person? I can only seem to get voice prompts. I hope this works out. Otherwise we were just talking about dropping some of the days from our trip because we're not sure that we can come up with the total amount due in time.

Some people are reporting that they're able to get DIsney reservations on "hold" for 7 days.....I didn't even know that was possible, but you might call and ask.

Try calling the appliation status line 1-888-338-2586 and wait for the prompt to speak to a representative. Explain your situation and ask they expedite the application process. I think you stil have to wait for the account number in the mail though.

I just saved even more than with the pin I got.
I called about the Visa deal and now we are getting a Court Yard view with dining and park hoppers for $3,429.88. Before it was woods view and everything else the same for $4050.
Our dates are Dec. 19-26. Thanks for the heads up on the dining and room discount!

I got in on xmas week with the visa code, but with one extra night, I'm up 700 from the fall package price in Nov.

What's odd is that I'm still saving 200 on a rack rate package without dining...

2A, 1J, 1C - 7nights, 6day hopper in a mod.

fall package - 2368
free dining - 2467
rack rate - 2719

I would drop to a value, however no availability...

My nov fall package was 1750 for 6 nights though... I need help justifying it...

just go onto disney;s site, do a mock reservation, get to the payments part and see if the card shows up there, it seems to be there quicker than waiting for the mail worked for me! The Visa shows up under payment types under your account.

Our Disney Visa just came this morning. (DH got approved on Monday.) I called and was able to add the dining plan for $196. (We previously booked with the fall special.) Our total for 5 nights at Pop Century with 5 day base tickets was $1125. We still must have gotten a small room discount since the total was less than the website. I am so excited. This morning my son was trying to figure out where Florida was and how we were going to get there.

Just decided to take advantage of the Visa free dining. I called this am to get quotes for a trip with my DS20. Our dates are 12/16 to 12/21. The QXZ quote with two 1 day tickets (we are AP holders) and free dining was $616.84 at ASSp. We will apply the value of the one day tickets next time we buy an AP ($75 value each). That means we are eating for 5 days for just over $166.00. Can't beat that.

The AP quote was $350 for room only.

I have a reward flight coupon for SWA and now will just need to pay for 2 tickets down.

I had used the QXG code for fall and got 8nights/9 days for $1312 at ASM for the dates 11/19-11/27, no dining. Now with the FD code QXZ I got the same res for $1698. I am paying $385 more, but dining for 8 days for 2 adults and 2 kids. Does that sound right? I am thinking we couldn't do much better than that for dining anyway and we would have to really scrimp to even do that. This way we have good dining and more food then we will probably be able to eat. Does that make sense? What do you guys think?

This is my first real trip to Disney. Went once in HS for a band trip that only lasted 2 days, so let me know if I am thinking correctly on how expensive dining will be.

That sounds like a great deal! We (our family of six) had a similar situation... when we switched from the fall discount to the free dining, our price went up $500, but like you, I figured we couldn't feed our family for a week at Disney for much less than that - and now we won't have to scrimp, and can eat at fun places.

I called this morning to check on a Disney Visa free dining package at AKL. The total for 4 nights (12/18-22) with free dining and a one-day base ticket each was $1364. When I checked the rack rates with a one-day ticket and no dining, the cost was $1916. So, I got free dining and a savings of $552 ($138 per night) off the room rate!!

This is a total savings of $1150 (if I had to pay for dining) - not that I would have ever paid $2524 for 4 nights in the first place. In fact, the rate I did get is kind of high, but this is a combined Christmas present for the family and birthday presents for me and my DD. I cannot wait!!

They only have a 1 day base ticket, you have a 5 day base ticket for 4 people. So that alone will significantly increase your price if you switch to AKL.

It never hurts to ask!

We had two rooms on free dining at ASMusic (we just don't fit well in two double beds), and the total price was about $950, so I figured AKL is worth about $100 more per night.

I'm a little confused. This offer is basically supposed to add Free Dining to the standard Magic Your Way package price, right?

I got a quote on the website for:
7 nts @ ASMu; 11/12-11/18; Stand Rm; (2) adults; (2) 7-day w/ Park-Hopper only; no insurance = $1235.78

However, when I call and ask for the exaxt same thing, and then ask to add the Free Dining from Dis-Visa they say it comes out to $1363.

I asked why the free dining adds nearly $130, and they said they don't know, but it may because the Disney Visa package may be priced differently. The quote I did online is for rack rates, regular ticket prices, no discounts. This seems like false advertising. The claim you can add free dining to a MYW package, but it increases the total price and they can't tell you why.

Can anyone make any sense of this? Thanks-
