I booked a package using my Southwest Visa card. I also have a Chase Disney Visa. If FD is offered to Disney Chase cardholders first, will the fact that my package is not booked with that card (even though I do have one) affect my eligibility for the early booking? This is kind of a tough question. Any info would be appreciated.

I think you have to use the Chase Disney visa to book if it is a deal offered for Disney Visa holders. They may cancel your original booking and re-book the new offer with the Disney Visa.

Unless something has changed very recently, the only thing you would need to do to get the deal would be to put down another $200 payment with the Disney Visa on your current reservation.

I would much rather be able to do that than to rebook. Chances are FD will be not be offered a ahead of GP so it will mosr likely not be any problem at all.

Happened to me 2 years ago. We had 3 packages booked under 3 different names, but the reservations were linked. When FD came out, I called to add the promo because I was the only one with a Disney visa. They made me make 1 payment of, I think, only $20-$25 on only 1 of them. I think it is to verify that you have one. I know it wasn't $200, but that was a couple of years ago.

So if I apply online to get a Disney Visa and get approved, would I be able to use the number right away, or do I have to wait for the actual card to have my number?

I've applied for ccs in stores before and they give you a temporary "card" which just has the number on it...does Chase give you something like that when you apply. Just wondering if it is even worth applying to get the Visa RO discount or if I should wait it out for the GP RO offers.

Unless they have started offering it in the past month or so no Chase will not give you a temporary card number to use.

Yep...I found a number to call before I got your answer. You are correct. I'd have to wait the 2 weeks to 30 days for the card. Thanks for following up!

Guess this means I'm back to waiting for AP or GP discounts. :(
