Disney Visa 09/28 - 12/23 Code

We ended up biting the bullet and changing our resort plans today. We did a major upgrade to our trip today. Quite frankly, I was floored to find a AAA discount available for 2 rooms at the CR in December, but I was able to take advantage of it and I was even told there were two more AAA discounts left that would apply during our dates.

The point of this though is that I changed one of our deposits from another cc to the Disney Visa cc, so that if the Disney Visa Code comes out and is something that would save us more money. She acted like it's a package code and coming soon, so keep your eyes open!

Now I'm even more confused. I made my deposit through my travel agent with another credit card. Are my chances better if I change it to my disney visa?

Oh yeah, oh yeah, got something from Disney Visa in the mail today!!!
Oh darn, oh darn, it was just my bill!!! Too bad, I was really hoping it would be this elusive code everybody is talking about.
Guess I will just have to wait like everybody else to see what this is all about.

OK, I think Disney Visa just doesn't like me! I didn't even get my catalog (or whatever it is) from them. No codes, no catalog, nada!!! :confused3 I have gone online and signed up for everything I can. I have double and triple checked my information and it's all correct. What's up with that!!! I guess they don't like that I pay my bill on time! :lmao:

I have my fingers crossed and will be eagerly awaiting Monday AM to see if a code comes out. We are booked at WL and I would love a code to off set some of the cost!

See you all bright an early Monday morning! :surfweb:

Disney Visa - please be good! :worship:

not to sound like a complete quack-- but do you think these Disney Visa codes will be out Sunday night at midnight? 8 am Monday.. anyone know?

thanks!

It always seems like the first posts show up around 7am EDT. (Which I think is when CRO opens)

Okay so let's just say these codes come out on Monday. I guess they will be on the disney visa website? If so, is there a huge hurry if we already have a reservation and it is just going to save us some money on that current reservation? Is it like a race to see who can call first.

Because if it is.... I'm a fast runner and I don't need much sleep. :dance3:

If, a Disney Visa discount comes out, you MUST make the deposit on the room with a Disney Visa card, you can pay off the balance any old way that you wish, but the deposit has to be on a Disney Visa card.

There is no proof that using the Disney Visa card for your deposit on bookings makes any difference in how much more or less likely you will be in gathering any other code opportunities.

I always get the codes here on this board first... usually a few hours later I get an email... not sure where the first posters get them from, but I always come here!!!

I will see you all Monday at 7am :surfweb:

Exactly--- I can stay up till midnight to save some $$!

I don't know about you guys.. but I am so antsy about this code! We got the Visa to save $$ and now I am irriationally miffed that some people are getting codes while I sit here (no offense to any of you that got them-- good for you!) I am just bitter about it for me!

good luck to all!

I was wondering this also. Can we just apply it to our existing reservation, or do you need to call right away to get a room. I am away all week next week, no internet access. I may be able to have someone check my email for the code #, but will it then be too late? My other concern is that we reserved a deluxe room at WL, and really want to keep that one. Will this code only apply to open (unbooked) rooms, so, if all deluxe rooms are booked for our week, we won't be able to do it (even though we have a deluxe room already booked)? Does this make any sense? Thanks

It's my understanding that x amount of rooms under this code is set aside. If the number of rooms in that category is booked with a code, then they are gone. If the rooms in that category all book without a code, you need to wait for a cancellation. Does that make sense? You may apply it to an existing reservation, if a room in that category is available.

Talk about excitement... and then a crash down. I got an email from Disney Destinations... and it had a whole thing about special rates "just for you"... But no codes or pins attached... just the regular rack rate. :(

Hopefully SOMETHING will come out for my Oct. 13 trip... I guess I'll be waiting impatiently to see what Disney Visa codes come out next week.

Thanks. Now I understand a little better. So I'm booked through a TA at small world vacations. I have all my booking info though. If I see the code and can't get ahold of her can I call Disney myself and handle it? I guess I could always make separate reservations through disney if necessary.

Just had to jump in and say I'll be on first thing Monday morning too! My husband thinks I'm nut, but I'll probably even set an alarm

We're looking at 10/22 through 10/27 at POR. Good luck to everyone

Called Disney Visa, gal didn't know anything, but gave me a number to try in the a.m. I'm a bit ticked that even with the Visa card there is a crazy lottery-type gig to get a discount. With limited rooms, is it possible the they could all be taken before Visa even gives you your code?:confused3 I'd hate think that all this obsessing will have been for naught!

The more I think about it, the more it doesn't make sense. How could they give benefits to SOME card holders and not all? Wouldn't that open that up for some legal problems?

And isn't it ONLY the OP that got a code?

Something doesn't fit here.
