Well look who's up bright and early this morning.:woohoo:
Thanks, I love dressing the kids in cute outfits! I always have to keep myself from buying too many clothes for them;).
DW did too. So glad we had Grandparents and an Aunt who bought them so much stuff or our budget would have definitely taken a huge hit!
I had our Christmas cards made this past weekend & the furry critter is on it. I think you're right that they will be fun pictures to look back on!
:yay: for Dale getting included in the Christmas cards! I'm sure that will be a hit with everyone!

BTW, 3 weeks from today...........

Tonight is extra magic hours at MK. We are coming back to MK tomorrow night & I decided not to watch Wishes, but ride the rides while everyone else was watching Wishes. Brad is happy with this plan. He’s not a parade or fireworks guy. He’ll watch them with us with no complaints, but he thinks all firework shows are the same & once you’ve seen it…your good…for all times….forever.
Anyway, we’ll see Wishes tomorrow night.

We started off in Adventure Land.
I was taking a picture of Brad & kids and the CM offered to take a family pic of us.

When we were riding the Magic Carpets of Aladdin we could see Wishes & it was pretty cool!

Lexi pretending to be the Statue of Liberty with her light-up.

We make our way around & ride SM & BTMRR a couple of times each. It was neat riding in the dark. Lexi didn’t get in the pictures because she’s ducking to keep from getting wet.

We went to Haunted Mansion , Peter Pan, Cinderella’s Carrousel & another favorite, Mickey’s PhilharMagic!

We rode Space Mountain again. Then we got on a ride that we’ve never rode before. The People Mover! This ride was so AWESOME!!!! You’d think it would be a short ride, but it turned around everywhere! I love how it goes through Space Mountain. This is one of my new favorite rides. When I’m older & take my grandkids to Disney. I’m just going to let them run around everywhere in the heat & I’ll stay on the People Mover all day!

WDW2010095.jpg

You can see it’s a great place to take a nap. It didn’t take but a few seconds for Brad to fall asleep.

WDW2010094.jpg

I don’t remember what all we did after that. When looking at our PP pictures we obviously took more pictures!

We were walking out & Main Street looked so pretty with the lights.

We get to our bus stop & head home to crash. Since we’re out late, tomorrow will be our only morning that we don’t get up at the crack of dawn.

Another great update Amy! :thumbsup2 I just love MK at night... especially Tomorrowland. I'm so glad that you like the People Mover so much... it will always be one of my favorites and not many people appreciate it like I do. It just gives you a chance to sit back, relax, and soak up all that Disney atmosphere. :cloud9:

Your comment about taking your grandkids and riding the People Mover while they run around made me smile! :)

Looks like a fun night. How late did you make it? The picture by the castle at night is soo nice!

Yay! Great update :) The People Mover is a MUST! When Space Mountain was under construction, you could occasionally catch a glimpse inside with the lights on (very cool). But its perfect for getting that fun view of the Castle - glad you got the chance to ride.

*Randomly too, over the last maybe 3 years, if there is no line for the people mover - cast members invite you to stay on the ride and go around again without getting off and having to get on again. My DH, Brother & Dad did 3 or 4 laps one time and LOVED it. Its like a moving couch!

The picture of you & Tigger is my favorite - you are holding on as if to say "Dont you bounce away from me!"

Nice update...more great pictures! I like the one with Lexi and Levi in the stocks - you can't see very much of Levi's face, so it looks like Dale is the one being punished.

How could you have never ridden the Peoplemover / TTA / WEDWay / whatever the heck it's called now! That's a favorite of ours for a nice afternoon break!

AWESOME update!:thumbsup2 Pooh and the gang make Crystal Palace my favorite place to eat! I love the pic of you and Piglet and how y'all match in your pink!! Too cute!! And I'm totally jealous of getting to ride Splash Mountain in the dark. I've always thought it would be really cool to do that! I agree about the People Mover--it's totally fun!! And I LOVE the pic of you and Brad in front of the castle--too sweet!

that night picture with the castle would be a good one for your christmas card, there is no hat on levis head.:thumbsup2

and everyone is smiling good in it.

It was a fun ride & very relaxing at night to do.

I love the night pictures of the castle. I love watching it change the different colors!
I cannot even remember now what time we left. I did not take notes & it's getting harder & harder remembering everything. I think the park stayed open till 12:00 am, so it was probably close to that when we left.

Well look who's up bright and early this morning.:woohoo:

I'm always up early! I have to be to get these kids going before work & school!

Yay for 3 weeks!!!!:dance3:

Glad you gave the Peoplemover a chance. Such a nice, relaxing ride around Tomorrowland. I especially love it at night.

So, you didn't say if you all were completely soaked by the end of Splash x2. Looks like you may have stayed dry in the back of the logs.

Nice plan of riding lots while Wishes were lighting up the sky.:thumbsup2

We love the Crystal Palace too, but we've only eaten breakfast there. Pooh and friends are just so cuddly! I can't belive you've never been on the Peoplemover! That has always been one of my favorites since I was a little girl. It's so relaxing and you get a great view of Tomorrowland.

Great update! :goodvibes Looks like a wonderful night at MK. You got so much done. The crowds must have been low!

Great pictures!

great update!! Was the pic of the 4 of you in front of the castle your Xmas Card pic??!!! All the pics turned out great!!!

Peoplemover is a must every trip and sometimes we ride it several times!

We've always wanted to eat at the Crystal Palace-- love how cuddly the Pooh characters are! Love the picture of you and Brad-- too cute!

Great update, Amy!! Love all the pics at night at MK, I'm pretty sure your family doens't take a bad a picture!!!:cutie:

Love, love, love the people mover! It's the best!!! And you're so right, it's longer than you think and you get to see so much more than you think!

Todd and Brad may be cut from the same cloth...he's not into parades or fireworks, either!:lmao:

i found your trip report a week or so ago and i've read the whole PTR and TR :) i just wanted to say that i love your report! you family is SO adorable. the kids are so so cute! and in your ptr i saw your little itty bitty itinerary you made.. i made one for myself based off of yours. it was a brilliant idea. thanks for sharing your story with us! i'm really enjoying it! :wizard:

I'm all caught up now again - and loving your report! I'm hoping you were able to finally snag that perfect Christmas card pic. :goodvibes

I'm a big fan of the Peoplemover as well - it's such a unique and fun ride, simple, and entertaining!!

I laughed out loud at your Test Track sleeping pics - I gotta get DH to pose with me next time on the ride!
