Disney Vacay with the Love Bugs (New 6/23 update ~ Chef Mickeys)

Yay! Great update The People Mover is a MUST! When Space Mountain was under construction, you could occasionally catch a glimpse inside with the lights on (very cool). But its perfect for getting that fun view of the Castle - glad you got the chance to ride.

*Randomly too, over the last maybe 3 years, if there is no line for the people mover - cast members invite you to stay on the ride and go around again without getting off and having to get on again. My DH, Brother & Dad did 3 or 4 laps one time and LOVED it. Its like a moving couch!

The picture of you & Tigger is my favorite - you are holding on as if to say "Dont you bounce away from me!"

That would have been cool to see SM with the lights on.
I'm sure after a long day that staying on the People Mover for several turns would be very relaxing.

Nice update...more great pictures! I like the one with Lexi and Levi in the stocks - you can't see very much of Levi's face, so it looks like Dale is the one being punished.

How could you have never ridden the Peoplemover / TTA / WEDWay / whatever the heck it's called now! That's a favorite of ours for a nice afternoon break!

I don't know how we missed it on our last trip. We thought we had rode it until we started up the escalator & then we were like 'We've never done this!'.
It was a nice surprise.

AWESOME update! Pooh and the gang make Crystal Palace my favorite place to eat! I love the pic of you and Piglet and how y'all match in your pink!! Too cute!! And I'm totally jealous of getting to ride Splash Mountain in the dark. I've always thought it would be really cool to do that! I agree about the People Mover--it's totally fun!! And I LOVE the pic of you and Brad in front of the castle--too sweet!

You do need to ride SM in the dark next time you're in WDW, it was fun!

that night picture with the castle would be a good one for your christmas card, there is no hat on levis head.

Glad you gave the Peoplemover a chance. Such a nice, relaxing ride around Tomorrowland. I especially love it at night.

So, you didn't say if you all were completely soaked by the end of Splash x2. Looks like you may have stayed dry in the back of the logs.

Nice plan of riding lots while Wishes were lighting up the sky.

Amazingly we did NOT get wet at all. But, our luck didn't last for the rest of the trip!

We love the Crystal Palace too, but we've only eaten breakfast there. Pooh and friends are just so cuddly! I can't belive you've never been on the Peoplemover! That has always been one of my favorites since I was a little girl. It's so relaxing and you get a great view of Tomorrowland.

We've had brkfst at CP before too, the food is great both meals.

Love, love, love the people mover! It's the best!!! And you're so right, it's longer than you think and you get to see so much more than you think!

Todd and Brad may be cut from the same cloth...he's not into parades or fireworks, either!

We do take bad pics, they just don't get posted! I'm having a hard time finding enough of Levi because his eyes are closed in 1/2 of our pictures, but Lexi is ready to pose perfect every time. Must be a girl thing!

I'm so glad to hear someone else's husband is like mine!

i found your trip report a week or so ago and i've read the whole PTR and TR i just wanted to say that i love your report! you family is SO adorable. the kids are so so cute! and in your ptr i saw your little itty bitty itinerary you made.. i made one for myself based off of yours. it was a brilliant idea. thanks for sharing your story with us! i'm really enjoying it!

I'm not having much time during the Holidays to post. I hope to get one more TR update out before Christmas, but it may be after.
We are staying so busy!



We also have a house guest, Maxy, that is with us until Christmas. He is very mischievous!

He even colored our milk green in the fridge last night!


If you have kids & do not have a 'elf on the shelf' at your house, I HIGHLY recommend that you get one. Even though our elf can be very bad, our kids LOVE him & he is so much fun to have!!!!!

Yeah, I was expecting a delay, but not a full cancel!!! Nobody was celebrating at our house! They KNOW what it might mean for our trip. Now if it had been snow instead of ice....... Too bad on the messed up plans!!! We still have so much to do this weekend, so be careful if you are out in the big city that you don't get in our way! I would hate for us to meet on the wrong terms!!!

BTW, love the Christmas card! The hat just makes it!!! I am so glad you chose that picture on the bottom left! I think that one is so adorable of Levi and Lexi!!!

Oh wow.. I am in Prosperity.. About an hour from the upstate! Are you on the Greenville or the Spartanburg side? I used to serve court papers all over the Upstate so I know a good bit about it.. It is such a nice place! I love reading all of these TR- It really is getting me excited about my trip. We are going Feb 11-15th
