I agree with this 100%. Also having medicaid does not mean you cannot take trips and buy nice things. If you look at the standards for medicaid I am sure they are pretty high for a family of 3. My children are on medicaid and I work everyday. I do not have to prove that I cannot afford health insurance monthly I have to just prove that I make a certain amount of money every 6 months which is pretty high for my family of 5. DH and myself both have our own insurance policy through my employer but economically it is just more cost effective for us to have them on medicaid until DH get employment. We are going on a
Disney cruise March 2011 and their is nothing illegal about that. Also, if dd receives a monthly check as long as their income falls within those guidelines they can continue to receive their check and use it for what ever they would like. I think you are probably just upset that dh is going to WDW with them instead of you and to be honest I would be upset aboout that also. But that is dh fault not the inlaws and defianately not their dd.
