Disney Vacation Account - what a mess!

Just so I understand. Have you been able to use the a DVA with a TA or were these trips you booked directly with Disney Travel. Which when you think about it Disney Travel is just that, a travel agency which happens to be owned by Disney. So again I cannot understand why they would not let their sales force (Independent Travel Agents) use this as well

No TA. My purchases (AP & DDP) have been through Disney, either direct phone call to ticketing or online, and DDP was purchased through DVC.

I just booked a room only through the Disney website. It had Disney Vacation Club as a payment. My problem is I can not get my Disney gift cards added onto my Disney Vacation Account. Anyone else have a problem? I emailed and the very thoughtful reply said that they had to be Disney gift cards.

Are they Disney Store GCs or Disney GCs? Only the Disney GCs can be used.

Yes they were the right ones. I finally got the target ones to go through but still no luck with the one from Lowe's. The payment screen seems to freeze on the "we are adding up your savings." Now every time I see that I want to ask if they ran out of fingers. lol maybe need a better calculator maybe. lol
