Disney vacation account ending - how to pay dues

With the DVA ending will there still be a way to pay annual dues with gift cards?

Are you allowed to pay with an actual gift card directly? If so, you can use disneygiftcard.com to combine them.

Just got the email about DVA ending as well. I believe you can now pay dues on the DVC website with gift cards, without calling. I think I did it in January with a combination of the DVA account and gift cards.

The online dues payment system was updated to accept Disney Gift Cards. Member Accounting will also take them by phone, but you are limited to 5.

So bummed they are discontinuing the DVA accounts.

I've used gift cards the past 2 years for dues. My dues are around $1600, I combined them to $1000 and then the remainder on a second card.

I'm on the monthly payment plan but opted to pay off my dues part way through the year with gift cards. I didn't bother combining them. I logged into my DVC account and typed the numbers in one at a time. I only had 12 gift cards so it didn't take too long.
