Any of you DISer's into the Disney Treasures Collection? I love them! Just got my Disney on the Front Lines:The War Years DVD. :earseek: wowsers what a GREAT DVD!

I highly reccommend it to any of you History buffs out there and anyone who appreciates great animation...::sigh:: I miss the good olddays of high quality animation....

Do any of you have any of these Treasures? if so which ones are you favorites? I think this new one is my favorite so far, followed by the Disneyland one and Mickey Mouse in Black and White

I have the DL one, very nice. Maybe I will look into this one too, Josh.

Yep...just picked up the 4 new releases on Tuesday!
We love them all.

I ordered the Tomorrowland one yesterday. I am looking forward to seeing Walt's Epcot footage.

I LOVE THEM TOO! But I got into them when it was already too late and now I don't have Mickey in Living Color, Vol 1. I want that one SOOO bad but the cheapest I can find it for is $100. I really like the Goofy one because it shows all those cartoons where Goofy is learning how to do something, They are just so funny!

Yeah that Goofy one is great. I love the Goofy Driving short...

Yeah Dan Murphy, this War Years DVD is spectacular...it replaced the Disneyland one an my favorite. I'm a history guy myself and seeing all of this war era animation is incredible...I highly reccommend it.
I think I am going to go watch some of it now....

I was lucky enough to get the Tomorrowland DVD, especially since there was so little copies made of it. THe EPCOT film on it is really cool. Sometimes I think to myself that it sure would be neat to have a city like that in the WDW area. I realize that there is Celebration, but that's not quite the same thing. Anybody who has the Tomorrowland DVD should watch that. In fact, that Mars and Beyond segment was simply hilarious!!!!! :teeth:

I also have the Front Lines, but I haven't started watching it yet. My dad is a real history buff, so I sort of got that one for him.

I have all the first 2 sets- I have the Donald and War Years (when it gets here) and I think Ill buy the last 2 tonight- Whats another 50 bucks :) -em

I read somewhere that the original set is still available, but no in tins. They contain the same DVDs as the collector series.

Had to make three stops to get all four of them on Tueday. By 1:30pm, Best Buy was already out of the Donald, and Borders didn't have it. The Disney store had all four of them, but nearly every copy was in a dented tin:mad: The CM told me the tins were shipped in boxes with no packing:eek: I bought the Donald dvd there(found one with just a tiny flaw). Either there is a big run on these, or some stores didn't order many.

There were plenty of them at our Best Buy on Friday when I stopped by. But they were all dented. As I mentioned, I ordered mine online since it was $5 cheaper than at Best Buy.

I got the other 2 I was missing for 24 plus my discount so 21-

The Electronics people were surprised how well they were selling :)
