So i found 5 disney pins today at our local goodwill...I've tried to research them to find out if they are real or not..they are still attached to the black walt disney world backing, if that makes any sense, and shows the original price as $6.00 and says Walt Disney World Attractions, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830...they are from 2000, one is Cinderella, one is a purple dragon and then i have one fairy godmother is red, one in blue and one in green all separate pins...Only Cinderella and the Dragon have codes on the back--one is M1003 and the other is M2028...can anyone help me? I was thinking I'd give these to DD8 in her christmas stocking, they were $2.99 each so not too bad...thanks!

You can research them on dizpins.com

You can search on pinpics.com for them, just use the search function to the left. Good luck!

The purple dragon, is most likely Figment, from the Journey to Imagination ride. And older Figment pins can be quite valuable among collectors. This one was from the late 90's and sold for $6.

The "fairy godmother pins" are probably Flora, Fauna and Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty.

Thank you, you were correct-it IS Figment..it's this pin in particular:

and here are the others:

http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=1043. this one the sku is different but it's the correct pin

http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=1044, again different sku

and finally:

http://www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/group.cgi?group=360&pin=83 but mine is backstamped 2000 and Has the 2000 Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand logo with waffle backing

How do I find the values of any of these? and is it a problem that the number on the back says M2028, I'm guessing not..well i'm off to look for the other 4..thanks so much!

Very nice! I have that Aurora pin, I love her in her blue dress so I get every one I can! LOL :) Values are weird for pins, those are older but they aren't LE's or anything so it's hard to say. Value is based on each trader really, for instance I might trade something really nice (or "valued") for that Aurora (if I didn't already have it lol) but I wouldn't give you much for the Figment, someone else may feel the exact opposite of me. You can try searching eBay to see if you can find any values there.

Ok i just wanted to make sure these weren't something of high value, if that were the case i'd show them to my DD now and see if she wants to sell them but i think i'm just gonna put them in her stocking from Santa and tell her to hold onto them until out next disney trip, no clue when that will be lol...i check goodwill EVERY time we are there for pins and today was the first time i'd seen any..

You can often pick up groups of pins at a good price on ebay. Your kids .. and you .. can have great fun trading on your next trip.
