i was on another board and people posted about tours, i got excited and booked the family magic tour, i got an AAA discount and i used an AMEX gift card to book it, yeah, has anyone else done tours, are they good, are they worth it? There is one at AK my dtr is not old enough to do that one.

How much was the AAA discount? How much did the AMEX gift card save you as well? My family is wanting to do this, but I am complaining about the money. Want to save what I can.

We've done a few & liked them all. The two we have liked the best so far is the Segway Tour through EPCOT & Keys To The Kingdom in MK.

with AAA it is 22 per person insread of 27 bucks, i used the gift card, it was a gift from mothers day,

I have taken 10 different tours over the past few years, all have been well worth the time tme and money, very interesting. Enjoy.

We did KTTK and the STEAM TRAIN Tour....Loved them both...20% discount when using the Disney Visa!!! :thumbsup2

We've done the backstage magic tour. FABULOUS! We absolutely loved it! It gives you a totally different perspective on rides, etc. We did the tour on our first day so that we could see and comment on things while we were in the parks over the next few days. It was neat to hear about things and then see them in action later.
we want to do the holiday and segway tours next.

it is really nice to have the feedback here. At times we book things without knowing i feel so much more secure hearing the positive feedback from those of you whom have done the tours.

We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour a few years ago and loved it. I was able to get a discount with our annual pass. :)

I booked the Steam Train tour today and saved 15% using CAA/AAA

I booked the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour today also and saved 15% using CAA.

Can anyone give me any insight on the Seas one?
I booked it for DD11 and I.
Is it scary? Is it hard to learn how to use the scuba gear?
Is it worth the $100 each?
thanks!

We did keys to the kingdom a few years ago and we're obsessed by hidden mickeys lol. My inlaws went the day before and had a totally different tour.

I did the Keys to the Kingdom and Undiscovered Epcot tours a few years ago.

Keys to the Kingdom was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny and great fun! I thought our guide was so good that I took the time to stop later and write a CM praise card and a letter. He built a sense of group as we walked and talked and by the end of the first hour we felt like new friends! He was later selected to help open Disney Tokyo with his wife.

But Undiscovered Epcot was a different story. The guide was not as organized and did not seem to care that people drifted away at times and I soon realized that some of the group were actually more expert in knowledge than he was! I still gained things from the tour but the group dynamics, problems ruined it for me.

Good thread - I am considering a tour for our stay next May. Love reading the reviews :) Keep 'em coming!
