I’m not talking about throwaways. I would hope they can figure out that one, but I suspect they don’t care because they get paid (occupied or not).
I know it won't make a big difference regarding my actions, but they have already pushed the pricing for my family budget.Yea that seems to be the case.
Raising prices even further (and selling FP) would free them up (reduce demand and crowds) I suppose.
CorrectI think since now FP+ can only booked for each section of a split stay at 60 days with two separate booking windows the fastpass would stay because they would be booked during the correct timeframe.
Someone (rteetz) is this right?
Honestly, the easiest solution is to do same day only FP, similar to MaxPass at Disneyland. This would close all of the loopholes, as you wouldn't even be able to book a FP until you enter a park and even then you don't get to choose the return time, you get the return time you get for the attraction.Agreed, I had really hoped the "must be in the park" and not able to use other bands etc would have helped a lot. Didn't at all that I ever heard.
There is an exception and that is DVC split stays on points are still treated as one reservation for purposes of getting FPs.Correct
Not from what MS is telling people today. There is an exception and that is DVC split stays on points are still treated as one reservation for purposes of getting FPs.

Too much invested in this system at this point. No way they just reverse everything.Honestly, the easiest solution is to do same day only FP, similar to MaxPass at Disneyland. Yesterday, I was told by a DVC CM that my cash/DVC split stay would be treated as one.
If leading reservations are no longer useful, who is going to do it?
Testers who booked and canceled still have their FPs.
No thank you. The ability to book ahead is so much better than having to get to the park right at opening to get any good fastpasses. I don't miss those days at all.
Only right now?And people are booking today for May. The system is clearly jacked up right now.
Only right now?![]()
And today people are reporting calling, emailing, and chatting with MS and being told that they will be treated as split stays, not continuous. It will be interesting to watch this play out!
I am not saying they would restore paper FPs, just change the programming to only allow people to book FPs after entering a park and only for that day.Too much invested in this system at this point. No way they just reverse everything.
