Anyone know anything about Disney the week before Thanksgiving? We are going from Nov. 13-20th and I expect that most people wont be vacationing the week before a holiday but I just thought I'd ask. Also, what is weather like around that time?

We have gone the last two years the week before Thanksgiving. In 2008 the weather was cold, but the crowds were really light. In 2009 the weather was much warmer and the crowds were light as well. We love to go that week! Enjoy!

we went the week of Thanksgiving 2008. Crowds were light until the Wed before Thanksgiving and then it got really crowded but nothing like at Christmas week. Temps were cool 35-45 then warmed up to 70-80 then cool again in the evening.

We were there Thanksgiving 2007. It was very crowded. Weather was very nice. Light jacket in the morning and at night. Shorts during the day.

Last year the weather was very warm and the crowds didn't pick way up until Monday the week of Thanksgiving. MVMMCP the Friday before Thanksgiving was incredible and the crowd level was more than reasonable. Have a good touring plan and you will love it.

We went the week before Thanksgiving last year. It was very warm for that time of year. The crowds were moderate. Friday was very busy in the MK.

The crowds were very light, and I would second doing the Christmas party. It will be your only chance to see the Christmas shows, since they don't start doing them during the day until after Thanksgiving. Also, dress in layers as that it changes in temperature so much from the heat of the day to sundown. It is a bummer that the Osbourne light show isn't going yet at this time though :( Also, if you have kids that would be interested in meeting the princesses and Mickey - check out Toon Town in the last hour or so that the park is open - it was dead and our child got TONS of individual attention. Mickey and Minnie played peekaboo with him. The princess made a huge fuss over him. It was fabulous.

We really think this is the best time to go...the crowds are light and Disney is putting up the Christmas decorations...this past year they already had the Osbourne Lights going...the only thing that is missing is the Candlelight Processional...you will enjoy your trip..
