On a whim, decided to get a retro Disney tattoo yesterday as I had an hour left at the end of my latest session

After my dad's tattoo artist friend cancelled on me at the last minute yesterday, I went to a shop by my house ( after making sure they accepted walk-ins and checking reviews on their work! ) and I think it was the best decision I've ever made. My first tattoo!

It looks great!! I want to do something like that. The balloons would be in the color on my boys birth stone colors (January & November).

Love this one so much! For the longest time I wanted all the old school Epcot logos somewhere on my body but figured if anything, I would get this. Hope to one day!

Starting the coloring on my Little Mermaid half-sleeve today. Can't wait to see it finished, but still lots more to add in the future. I'll post another pic later.

jwjulie --> I like those balloons, complements to your artist. Nothing says Disney as much as Mickey Balloons.

I am saving up to get my next... Looks like Sept or October will be the month. I need to 'Balance my calf" (per my wife) so have to get one on the inside of the calf.

Then 2 pics of coloring that was done this weekend. It took about 6.5 hours as there's a lot of color saturation needed. Hoping to get the whole thing done in 2-3 more sessions.

I am IN LOVE with it so far. I love how she added a glow around the shell for Ariel's voice. Can't wait to get it finished!

Thanks! I think so too. I knew it was going to be good, but she's really blown me away with this!

I completed my first 7 hour session of my Captain Hook leg sleeve. The first portion is inspired by The Jolly Roger sitting in Neverland cove and of course included a hidden Mickey. The next session will be touch up work on this part and then Captain Hook on the outside of my calf with the final session being Peter and the gang flying to the "second star on the right".





I still can't decide if I'm looking forward to the next sitting or not, OUCH!

Love this thread! I have 11 (quite big) tattoos, but none disney yet, i'm trying to work out something unique to get and then i'll be posting straight here!
